Help me find the right coffee maker!

Then I recommend you do. That pod holder on my counter does not reflect all the pod sleeves stacked like gold ingots in the pantry. You’d be better off buying and storing the gold.

The one thing about buying anything from Costco is their very generous return policy.

If that machine breaks, Costco is probably the best option

I got one of these - just the machine, not the frother - off my local Facebook group for $40 a couple of weeks ago! We really like the coffee, though it’s not as hot as I’d ideally like. I do like the fact that they have recycling bags - we haven’t filled one yet but I understand you can just drop them off at a UPS store. We have a Zwilling for when we are making a pot.

Also it looks beautiful on our kitchen counter

I find that warming my cup with hot water helps with the temperature.

It’s a common complaint about the Nespresso

Not to be a Debbie downer here, but very hot liquids are likely not good for one’s GI tract.

@GRITS80 I just saw Costco has the Simply Good Coffee Brewer for $99.99 with $9.99 shipping, online only. I didn’t know if you were a member, and/or you had already received the one you ordered.

@snowball Thank you. I am a Costco member and didn’t know they were carrying the brand. I looked it up and that is the model which is most like a traditional Moccamaster, just with a lower cost. I bought the plastic free version, which looks the same at first glance. Unfortunately the plastic free version is still pricey and you have to pre-order for the next shipment.

I’ve had my new coffeemaker for about 2 weeks now and like it. A friend saw mine last week and went home and put in an order for the March shipment.

Oh, I didn’t even read the description as I am playing on my phone while on a car trip with D and family. Makes sense it is the plastic version for that price!
