Help Me Out With Classes.

There is no specific undergraduate law program at UVA. All law degrees in the US are completed through a 3-year graduate program that you apply to after you receive a Bachelor’s degree (7 years total). There is also no specific pre-law or legal-aimed undergraduate program either, although there is a PPL program (Political Theory/Philosophy, Policy and Law) which draws from a number of depts. (history, politics, econ., philosophy) which you may find meets your needs. I believe there is also a way to develop your own major if your GPA is high enough.

With regards to business, UVA has a ‘business’ program for undergraduates, but it is run through the McIntire School of Commerce. However, you have to apply into that program during your second year after you have taken pre-requisite courses in accounting, business, finance, etc. The McIntire programs are quite competitive and many incoming students who have their sights set on getting into McIntire end up doing something else. The Economics dept. is good at UVA and many students who still want to pursue business but do not get into McIntire choose this route as an alternate option.

As far as SIS, I’m afraid I can’t help there…computing services deleted me last year! (Ohhh the downfalls of being an alumni!) :)
