<p>In the US system, law is a graduate program. So you are not going to be able to major or minor in that at UVA. For business, UVA has a separate school (the McIntire School of Commerce) that you can apply to transfer into during your second year. In order to do that, there are a couple of courses you need to take during the first two years, you can check there website to see the specific courses, but the big one people are trying to get into at orientation is COMM 1800. If law is your passion, I am under the impression that UVA commerce grads often go on to law school, which is another three years, often at a different university.</p>

<p>Also, you can not register for courses right now, you can only do that at orientation or after August 4th. They will go over what classes you should take there.
