<p>You being from out of state complicates things a tiny bit. You need a higher GPA - a 3.4+, so you’re in good shape right now! </p>

<p>Campus is full of tress and fields mixed among the academic and residential buildings. There’s nary a spot that isn’t beautiful. I’d say it also has a very diverse community, in terms of cultures and religions. School spirit isn’t super huge. Most people I know are proud UCSC slugs, but we have no big sports teams to rally this spirit around.</p>
