Help with this deadline?

“Entries will be accepted until
January 31, 2011.”

Does that mean that entries will be accepted on January 31 until midnight, or until January 30 at midnight? This is for the DuPont Challenge.

You know, I don’t know but…

 1. you have a year
 2. just do it before the 30th

We’re no longer in 2010. Just a reminder.

Whoa…that was weird. I wasn’t thinking we were in 2010, I was thinking that it was due in December. Dunno why.
Point 2 is still valid. heh.

Haha, except that it’s the 30th right now…The submission box is still open, so either it hasn’t hit midnight in whichever time zone they are using, or it’s until tomorrow. What do y’all think?

It’s already the 30th.

BTW

Generally, things with a due date on XX date will typically still be accepted on XX date.

It should be tomorrow.

I thought so too, LaTina, but it clearly says “until,” which I interpreted as “before.”

People have the same interpretation for like… “due by”. It still means it’s accepted on the date it says.
