Since we haven’t heard from the OP, things must be going swell at Morningwood Academy.
Unless, maybe the situation has become very tense.
And I thought my son had roommate problems last year with his messy roommate and that was really their only issue. I’m sure the roommate is very embarrassed and it probably won’t happen again. I’d let it be and definitely knock or make a lot of noise before entering the room again. It seems odd that the door doesn’t automatically lock. My son always needed a key to get into his room.
