Hey need a poll for English again.

My teacher is obsessed with these peer polls. This is my 3rd on here I believe. Anyways for yet another research-type paper:

Is there a difference between the words Magic and Magick?

If so, what is it?

Please don’t use any sources, jut go with what you know.

Thanks so much.

Yes, there is a difference. The word “magick” is spelled with a ‘k’ at the end, while there is no ‘k’ at the end of the word “magic”.

Isn’t “magick” what Wiccans and other witches/pagans and the like describe what they practise? And magic is just like Gandalf, Merlin, Dumbledore…

i dont know the differecne
is magick how old peple spell it?

No one who doesn’t know this is going to answer.

Magick is wicca.

magic is just sort of general magic, like when people talk about magic…
and magick is wiccan, and hard-core fantasy.

Magick is hard-core magic. It requires English-user much more effort to write the word (extra ‘k’? c’mon…), so it must mean that magic-users must put in THAT much mor effort of do magick instead of magic.
