Hi Everyone

I am looking for a educational consultancy for doing my MBA, i meet some people but they dint provide proper information about Universities and education systems, need advice for doing MBA in UK.

Thank you in advance.

Couple of things, first this board is predominately undergraduate oriented. But there is a section for Grad and Professional School. This isn’t is. Go to the main menu and school down and you will see that section and the MBA subsection. However, this board is U.S. oriented and I doubt you will get much information about overseas MBA, perhaps. But references for consultants? I doubt it. Good luck.

Sorry and thank you very much.

You don’t need an educational consultant for the UK. There are only about 40 unis that offer MBAs:
[MBA - Complete University Guide](What's an MBA?)

You can find rankings here:
[Business school rankings from the Financial Times - Global MBA Ranking 2013](http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-rankings)

Put the two together and you have your short list (if you are going for a prestigious programme you will see that it is a very short list). After that, you research the programmes through their online sites, which are all very comprehensive (you might find this course choice article interesting: [Postgraduate subject tables 2012 | Education | The Guardian](Postgraduate subject tables 2012 | Education | The Guardian)).

The UK system is much more straight forward than the US system, and (IMO) you don’t (or shouldn’t) need an educational consultant to do the research for you.

Have you considered studying on the Continent? There is a one-year program at Insead in Fountainbleau, France and a 2-year at IMD in Lausanne Sw. Both are in ENglish and have 1st rate reps.

Although the emphasis here in the “United Kingdom” section is on undergrad, just like with the rest of CC, there are still quite a few discussions of grad school in the UK. There is no rule against it.

Google The student room. This is a UK forum that might be able to help you.

IMD has one year MBA program, not two year. It has two year Executive MBA program but is a part time curriculum and does not have the same brand recognition as the regular full time MBA.
