<p>“Elite” is a broad word choice. Is there a disadvantage? IMO, it’s better to ask each college for their opinion. I only see a disadvantage if your class year is filled with people who did well in calculus.</p>
<p>I would think it’s a slight disadvantage because you wouldn’t be taking the most challenging course available. You could take two math classes senior year if you wanted.</p>
