High School Class of 2013

I dont think anything is wrong with ives just not for me. Plus my major isn’t one that needs to be an ivy level degree maybe when I go for my masters or phd

^Healthy outlook on life, unlike us prestige whores :)

If Dartmouth, Georgetown, or Harvard take me my life will be made. If not, I’ll just try for a full ride at Lewis and Clark or something. Life goes on. Whatevvs their loss (not really aha)

Hahaha i fully admit I am somewhat of a prestige whore… :p

…and if MIT accepts me, my life will be made… <3

issookaayyyy so am I. I admit it.

i am legit obsessed with duke…its a problem lol…ill probably ED, but my mom’s afraid that i will be crushed if i don’t get in…which is what will happen if i don’t get in haha, so she has a point…i just wish i could fast forward to December of next year so i can know whether or not i will be at the school of my dreams (fast forwarding past AP tests wouldn’t be too bad either)

Well… Duke IS a great school… haha, no reason not to obsess over them O:-)

i know right? i used to be in love with penn then dartmouth then yale, but then i realized i wanted a school with great academics and sports (plus i am a huge college basketball fan, so it makes sense), and i want to get away from the northeast, so fingers crossed!!

Ughhh I am so obsessed with Caltech it hurts.
If I don’t get in I will quit life.
this is obviously a healthy attitude.

hahah aikurage, that’s almost my exact attitude, except about MIT

Hey guys. Yale.
You know that if I don’t get in, I will literally have to burn half of my wardrobe/posessions? That bad. :(

Lol that’s why I refuse to buy any sweaters/shirts from colleges…

I have literally three sweatshirts and two pairs of sweatpants from Harvard. Also t shirts. My dad’s been buying me that stuff practically since I was born. I don’t really wear it out of the house though cause it makes me feel like a tool.

I’ve fallen in love with Rice  Although I’m trying to get a few other schools that I’m in love with in case I don’t get in. If I can get into Tufts or WUSTL I would still be extremely excited. Hoping to find more love schools this summer. If I don’t get into any of them though, I probably will be crushed.

@runallday4 That’s kind of how I feel about the schools I’m applying to… I’ll be SO happy if I get into MIT, but if I get into one of the ivies I’m applying to, I’ll be happy with that too… Just not as much as if I had gotten into MIT…

+1 for not buying college apparel. If you get rejected from a college and you have a ton of clothes from it, you will both need to throw your stuff away and be angry.

I know but it’s just comfortable and awesome and then you can have ritualistic burning parties once you’re rejected.

Haha my mom won’t let me buy anything because of that superstition about not getting into the colleges you have sweatshirts for =.=

^not to mention, everyone will be on your case asking if you got in, because they’ll know how much you wanted to get in

whoops. that was meant to be pointing to dfree’s post

@aikurage Haha I kind of think that too… I feel like I’d be jinxing it if I got a shirt/sweatshirt… XD
