<p>School doesn’t start here for over a month, I just spent most of my yesterday napping since I got about two hours of sleep the night before.</p>
<p>I’m scrambling to finish the online Geometry course I took this summer-- I’m taking my final Thursday and if I don’t pass I’ll be stuck in the Geometry class anyway even though I’ve been taking it all summer! Must. Pass. Stupid. Exam.</p>
<p>im a rising senior if any of you need any advice, just ask!</p>
<p>Wow, so I guess everyone is productive in some way. I wish I could do like franz, but I have band practice from 2:30 to 6:30 and I sometimes have mime dance practice at church from 7:00 to 9:00 (PM that is). I had open house today and found out my classes for the first semester. I have Honors Chemistry, Honors Precalculus, Honors Physics, and Health Sciences 1 for the first semester. I start school on Monday and I’ll have band practice everyday after school, so I probably won’t be posting as often.</p>
<p>^ after school starts, my posting and checking will undoubtedly slow, as well. </p>

<p>I should be doing summer assignments… But pottermore registration has kept me distracted these past few days.</p>
<p>@jerevedeparis: What’s Pottermore? Everything usually hits where I live late, like the Dougie and The Bed Intruder Song.</p>
<p>@evanb: It’s a Harry Pottter related sight that is going to have a lot of extra HP related stuff, like backgrounds on characters, etc.</p>
<p>I really want to register, too, but I never seem to miss it. For me, it happens in my area between three am and seven am, so I am going to have to pull an all nighter.</p>
<p>@franz: Okay. I thought it had something to do with Harry Potter. No one here reads for enjoyment or school, except probably ~15% of the entire population. I’ve pesonally never gotten into it, but I’m trying to after I read the Millenium trilogy by Stieg Larsson.</p>

<p>Btw, I just finished Animal Farm; I read it in two days. It was fantastic! George Orwell is a great writer, and I highly recommend the book.</p>

<p>I loved 1984 and I love Orwell’s style of writing. I did like Animal Farm but thought it was a little disturbing…</p>
<p>^It was very disturbing. I think that was the point (to write an allegory detailing a dark spot of Russia’s past in a way that’s lucid and accessible).</p>
<p>At my theater camp we put on Animal Farm: The Musical and I was Napoleon. Fun stuff! I prefer 1984, though.</p>
