High School Class of 2014

I had the biggest crush on him when I was like 9 and the Naked Brothers Band was on.

I wish I could download a car on The Pirate Bay.

@artsy: No, I didn’t … just thinking about seeing it made me angsty, lol. I didn’t know he was still an actor.

Yeah, he’s pretty… but Logan Lerman is better <3

Logan Lerman I loved him in perks, I just love Perks in general. I’m going to download other books from that website it seems okay

I see that the fan girls have taken over this thread.

The Wallflowers group is everything that I wanted my high school friendships to be like (sans the smoking weed & doing other drugs). They didn’t quite turn out that way, but I love them none-the-less.

Repede, are you a cynic?

Ish.

10char

I was so sad when I realized they couldn’t be my friends in real life.

Ew I can’t get over Nat from that show haha.

Guiz, guiz, I just wrote an essay on a book I never read. I feel so accomplished :)

Omg Hotchkiss students pay 47k a year to attend that school. These kids and their wealthy parents never cease to amaze me.

I’m currently watching Admissions and that’s why I looked up Hotchkiss.

wow, really?
My sister went on a summer program to there. Upon hearing the annual tuition for the school, it feels like the program (which was 4 weeks) should cost like 8k to attend, but I doubt my parents had that kind of money to dish out

Hey people,
I’m visiting chapel hill, nc state, and duke university this week, so I have to ask:
These are my first visits, so does anyone have any general advice?

Just try to have an open mind and make sure to get a good look around. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, pay attention and I personally like to take notes about things I find important and want to remember. Also, take any reading material they have available that way if you forget anything over time you’ll have it to look back on.

@Repede Good going.

These are my tips: [ul]
[] Collect all available pamphlets and materials from the school (unless you have to lug them around all day, in which case just request them from the school’s website when you get home).
[] Take photos, notes, and/or whatever else will help you remember the place.
[] Don’t be afraid to ask your tour guide TONS of questions; that’s what they’re there for!
[] After your tour, talk to students on campus (since it’s summer, you might not find many), and ask them about what life is like at the school.
[li] See if you can arrange an informal interview with an admissions officer–some schools do that, and it shows interest, which will help you later.[/li][/ul]

Good luck, and have fun on your trip!

Hey guys, have any of you taken the literature sat subject test? If I got a 5 on AP Lang could I take it and expect 700+?
Ughh I don’t wanna take/retake subject tests… especially because my french knowledge is deteriorating, not increasing.

I got a 4 on the AP Lit test and 780 on the Literature subject test.

Wow, nice. Should I take it?? English/Lit is not really my strongest suit, but I’m pretty good at it I guess… And I’m looking for something to take since US history went very badly…

Math I and Math II are pretty easy to study for.
