mygrandpiano, hopefully your experience with that book is/was better than mine, haha.

migraine, great, now another student is going to be depressed about his/her grades.
Seriously though CC can definitely help in familiarizing someone with the college app process.

If I go on reddit I’ll end up spending a good 2-3 nonstop hours on it, but luckily the crappy discussions have kept me away recently lol.

I hate school, there’s so much going on right now and it’s ridiculous. I decided to hold off on asking teachers for recommendation until September so I can worry about other things.

For the courses we are supposed to report, I have a weird situation.

I am enrolled for 9 classes next year but I plan on adding a college class 2nd semester. However, there is a wait-list for the class so I may or may not get it. Should I report the class on the application?

Haha, only 1 person at my school has ever even applied to caltech ( naviance)…

You could put the scholarship on your college app, I’m sure colleges will be impressed by your twerking skills! (But really, this scholarship exists??)
There’s also a tall people scholarship for like a thousand dollars… Should I apply? Haha

How about a swag scholarship? Students record video (camera attached to their snapback, of course) of their entire day. The videos are then reviewed by the International S.W.A.G. Committee and whoever has the swaggiest day in their video wins a full ride to the college of their choice with a small stipend for clothing.

Tip: don’t go on reddit until your homework is done.
Tip #2: stay away from r/atheism, even if you are atheist.

Fwiw, Twerking requires a lot of muscle and coordination. Especially when you’re doing it one cheek at a time.

I only go on Reddit for the cats.

Is anyone taking the Oct. SAT? I don’t know whether to take it in Oct. or Nov., and it’ll be my last time, so I really don’t want to screw up… but if I take it in November, then I only have one shot at the math SAT II >_<"

I’m planning on taking Oct. Subject Tests. Yay…

Might as well take Nov., if you need the time. You won’t get your Oct. scores in time to see if you want to retake it. The only thing you can go off is how you felt about the test.
