High School Class of 2014

Last three interims:

PE: 99%
English 10H: 100%
AP World History: 98%

All A+'s! Yess!

Lol good job Studious.

Here are mine:
Algebra2/Trig - 95%
AP World- 89%
English - 92%
Symphonic Band - 100%
Cisco - Probably around 90%
Clarinet Choir - 100%
Chemistry - 95%

HORRIBLE SCORES - But I purposely didn’t try because there is no point in trying to get a high score in the first marking period (there are 3 marking periods in a semester). Only the third marking period counts and that is the only one that goes into the transcript, so i’ll try then.

But I know all of those grades will go to about 95+ by third marking period.

ALSO: AP World History is the only class that averages out all three marking periods into one semester grade, because of my teacher, but he’s a cool guy. But I expect 95+ by the semester end.

I’m really lucky about this system, so i get a free break first two marking period, and the third is what really counts.

You guys are all such good students lol…

Hah, been creeping around this site for a while. Finally decided to join.

Our quarter ended today. Here are my classes/grades:

World History Honors - A

Algebra 2 Honors - A-

Chemistry - B

Spanish 2 - A-

Language Arts 2 Honors - A-

Health - A

My school gives progress reports every two weeks. Kinda weird, but at least you always know what your grades are.

Honors Chemistry: 102%
Honors Physics: 100%
Honors Precalculus: “strong A” (this teacher doesn’t give numbers)
Health Sciences 1: 99%

So far, so good.

Am My the Only one who hasn’t been studying for the PSAT’s? I’ve been incredibly busy studying for tests all throughout last week. My studying for the psats starts tommorow and im taking it on wednesday the 12th. I feel as though, by not studying so much. I’ll know what I need to work on, and what I don’t.

@star I haven’t started studying… I take it the 12th too, woohoo

On another note, I have an A in French 3, AP gov, IB chem, preib English, pe(lol),orchestra, and then a B- in preib algebra 2… Go figure -____- I am awful at math.

I have an A in Media Studies,Algebra 2, English,Bio,Geography, and a B in AP Human Geography and French 3.

My current standings:

French 2H- A
Honors Chem- A
English 10 H- A (101% to be exact, haha)
AP US- A (Barely holding it, unfortunately)
Geometry H- A (Took Alg II Freshmen year)

As for the PSAT, I don’t see the use in stressing over it/studying your ass for it as a Sophomore. I’m just taking it to get a sense of what I should improve on for when Junior year comes along.

My grades as of now:

Honors Pre-Cal AB: A+
Honors History 10: A
Honors Spanish IV: A
Honors Physics: A+
Honors English 10: A- (hardest class; I actually have one of the highest scores overall)
Tech Theater: A+ (joke class)

I’m a sophomore.

Lol TheKongo, you’re so lucky Tech Theater is a joke at your school.

In my school it was, but then the teachers changed and well, the class changed. I currently have a 92 and am going to present a 30 page (literally) design of the Middle School play from everything from props and costumes to lighting and a 3d model of the set design on Tuesday i believe.

God i hate that class, good thing the quarter is over.

This is what I’m predicting (all classes are considered honors/AP level; I go to a tiny prep school, also, A+'s aren’t given):

Precalc: A (favorite class!)
English: A (unless my project kills it :P)
French: A
History: A- (least favorite class)
Chemistry: A
Digital Photo: A

Some of the grades might go to A-'s but that’s okay. I think I’m pretty set.

Everyone is doing pretty well it looks like. Good job guys!

Hey everybody, I’m new here and by reading all the threads on here I’ve become addicted! I’m a member of Class of '14 and here are my classes and up to date grades according to the online gradebok:
Spanish II: 95
3D Studio Art I: 100
Advanced LAL 10: 110 (I’ve done so much extra credit lol that grade will probably even out once I take more tests)
Advanced Chem: 93
Drivers Ed: 99
Advanced Algebra II: 96
Advanced US History II: No grades have been posted but all of my grades I’ve gotten back are high A’s.

My school doesn’t let you take Honors or AP until junior year so the highest level classes I can take for now are advanced which have a .05% weight on your GPA. My GPA last year was a 98.-something, I don’t quite remember and I haven’t seen my guidance counselor yet. I take the PSATs tomorrow, not to concerned since they don’t really mean anything. Right now I have no idea where I want to go to college or what I want to do and it’s scary! So hopefully hanging around here will give me some guidance :)

I haven’t posted in a while. Anyway, school is fine, but we don’t get progress reports or online grades so I cant really tell you them. What’s your; easiest class, favorite class, and hardest class? My easiest is Stats, my favorite is Physics, and my hardest by far is World because it is such a time consuming( not wasting) class.

Good luck to everyone taking the PSAT tomorrow. Since you’re all Sophomores, don’t sweat it. Seriously.

My easiest and favorite are Health, haha. All you have to do is turn in easy classwork and you’ll have an A, and the discussions are actually pretty interesting.

My hardest is either Chemistry or Algebra 2 Honors. My teachers don’t teach them well at all so I’m not learning much, and I’m always stressing out about tests because of this.

My easiest class is probably Algebra II/Trig Honors. The hardest is AP Physics (hardest class of my life) but my favorite classes are Play Production and World History, content wise. AP Physics is also sort of my favorite because it’s so engaging and interesting.

My current grades are just decent, everything is a B+ or an A besides AP Physics. Hopefully by November I’ll be at all A’s with maybe a B or something in Physics.

How many of you have schools with a dual enrollment type program and are considering it? Washington State has one called Running Start and I’m definitely thinking of doing it.

Argh, I haven’t had any time to study for the PSAT. I guess I’ll have to wing it.

Easiest class: Health
Hardest class: Probably Spanish… I hate memorizing.
Favorite: Chemistry
Most hated class: Bio. My teacher is arguably the worst teacher in my school. So many of her former students have apologized and/or laughed (like, lololol your life sucks) when I told them I had her this year. :|

Algebra II: A+ (for now)
Bio: A-
Chemistry: A+
Chorus: A+
Civics: A
English: A+
Health: A+
Spanish: A-

It’s weird; I usually have A-'s w/ a B+ or two.

Took the psat today. I had no idea what some of the words in the critical reading section meant, hope I don’t get a worse score than last year :s
