I dream of being a grad student at Cornell
For undergrad, I guess UGA, both OSU’s (and maybe even the third lol), UMaine, and UMinnesota.

Why so many out of state publics, petlover?

Im into northeastern LACS, the Claremount Consortium and a few ivies: Williams, Amherst, Pomona, Pitzer, Columbia, Bowdoin, Harvard, Yale and Brown.

@Purpledino Yeah I agree, mean people are everywhere! I think I just had a bad experience maybe.

So, I had my first JV tennis match today. I actually ended up playing both a singles match and a doubles match.

I lost the singles match 8-0. I’m awful at singles, but I was still able to force deuce several times. I just had trouble finishing.

However, my partner and I rebounded to win our doubles match 8-6. It was a great match overall for both of us.

Anyways, I should probably get to sleep soon. I have school tomorrow.

@AlexHarper if you find Cali people rude you might get a bit of a shock in Oxford/Cambridge…

Ok, as I mentioned, it was 3 years ago, could of been a bad experience. I’ve wanted to go to oxford since I was 4, I don’t think anything could possibly steer me away from there. And like I said, rude people are everywhere. I’ll build a bridge and get over it.

Two weeks until school. o;

@Alex Harper hahaha, What does that justify? You made a decision as a clueless 4 year old, so what?

Less than a week for me. August 27th

Woohoo, almost time for me, too. August 28th.
I’m ticked by some of the new changes my school has made this year.

I’m going to high school this year…

Starts at 10th grade here.

Oxford is amazing, I don’t blame you for wanting to come here.
I always wanted to go to Oxford, until I was about 9 when I got fixated on US colleges. About a month ago I realised I would get around £300K of debt if I went to the US to do medicine, so Oxford is once again on the agenda.
It’s my birthday tomorrow then go back to school September 6th :)

Lol, oxford is an amazing college, Im just saying justifying something based on a decision made at age 4 is comical. i start on 29th

Money is always an issue, I love oxford but finances might not allow it. :

Happy Early Birthday!!! BTW: I want to go into medicine too!

WHAT ive been doing school since first monday of August!!! AAARGH Those who said August 27 i envy you

So for people who need some aid, how does that work? Don’t most colleges meet full need?

i dont think most colleges meet full aid. But practicly every college gives some need

I think it depends on where you go. Most will probably give you some time type of aid but if your parents income is above a certain level it is very minimal. You can also get merit based scholarships too depending on where you go because not all schools offer it like Harvard which only offers need based aid

Ok, this all sounds confusing, I will luckily not have to deal with any of this stuff.
