High school or College game?

Both. High school game tonight and College homecoming game tomorrow!

YEAH FRIDAY! And a 3 day weekend for me, with MINIMAL homework!!!

Cool. Around here, football games are the highlight of Friday night
s for the whole town! But there isn
t one tonight. And cool, which college?

@CE527M: this is going back a few pages, but I was completely convinced that you were a boy! Not to offend you or anything. I just thought that was funny how I kind of form mental images of people on here and I just assume people look that certain way until they actually say it lol.

@CE527M: Elon University. (Its well known around here, but I doubt its that popular elsewhere) I can walk to it, its basically in my backyard!

Yes, EVERYONE in town goes to the football game, deff the highlight!

oh and I thought you were a guy too. I think the Naval academy through me off… DARN those stereotypes

Just want to talk about the bullying incident CE527M talked about.

You said she lighted the pretzel on fire? So she brought a lighter to school? So she brought a DEADLY WEAPON to school? So she committed a FELONY?

Only 3 days of school left until half term holiday! Do you guys get a mid term/semester break?
We have a week and a half off, and I’m going to Greece!!!

@RoseOak…no offense taken, I agree completely! When you don`t know what somebody looks like, it makes perfect sense. Goodnoodle said a while back he thought AlexHarper was blonde.
@AlexHarper...Yeah, Ive heard of it, mostly because I
m only a state above you. No big deal, considering women at the Naval Academy only makes up about 1,000 of the almost 5,000 student population.
@petlover...yes, thats what my friend and other
s said. Yes, apparently shes a druggie, which explains why she has a lighter (and also why she might have said those remarks.) Yeah, apparently so, but the teacher didn
t do anything. And on the same subject (and please, no more arguments), I just wanted to end the topic by saying today, my friend was FINALLY called down to the office to give her account of what happened, then the girl who was the offender was called down, and I`m not sure what happened, but she did get in trouble, and probably for the lighter thing too.

@UKgirl…we have 4 quarters of the school year, and our first quarter ended today, so we have Monday off so the teacher`s can go in and work on the final grades and our report cards. (Called a “teacher-work day”.
@Marypoppopins...I think she just meat that because mostly guys go there. And yeah, theres a lot of people who smoke at our school (after school hours in the commercial parking lot next door), but you can
t have it IN school...it`s considered a deadly weapon, at my school at least, and can earn a student an In School Suspension.

Oh and @AlexHarper: I picture you as the main girl from Shake it Up on Disney Channel…I think the actress’s name is Zendaya, haha. I actually have no idea why!

@UKgirl23: That is awesome! I wish I could go to Greece! Do you always travel during your term breaks?

@CE527M Keep us updated on your friend! I want to know how things’ll end up.

@marypoppopins I’m getting real tired of your comments. I don’t know who you are or what your life is like, but the things you type put other people down.

^ +10. Amen.

And yes, I
ll definitely keep you all updated. I realize when I originally posted that post I kinda dramatized it, and I appreciated the comments about it. Yes, it
s something we
ll all have to deal with in life, and that incident was a taste of the “real world”, so to speak. I
m not sure what the girl
s punishment ended up being, but they
re pretty strict about cell phones, let alone something like that! A good way to end the week though.

I think because:

1) When it
s over the internet, it
s hard to tell the tone, especially if there`s no smiley face. And writing “lol” sort of made it sound like you were laughing at her.
-and-
2) Because just about every post you`ve posted on here puts others down and you say how much we brag and gloat, two complete lies, and you are in general pretty mean towards others.

^ The complete honest truth. Nobody on here acts like the way you say some of us do, and I honestly don
t know why you are so rude. I
m sorry if that offended you, but you
ve offended me a time or two too many, even though I don
t think much of your posts.

It’s not that we can’t take a joke, we don’t even KNOW if it is one, just like CE527M said. What we see is what you type

@Roseoak not always, but I am in this half of the year because I’ll be spending the next half revising for my GCSEs (exams based on two year courses)
Greece is a school trip for Classics, which means I get to go with quite a lot of my friends, which makes it so much better! Aparently there’s basically no drinking laws there, so my friends think we’ll be able to have a lot of fun! (although I don’t drink).
Then just after christmas at the end of the break I’m going to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands :)

Anyone else got nice holidays planned?

Oh yeah, live in the UK and jet on down to Greece. Live in the U.S? Go to another state. Lucky.

Let
s see, for Thanksgiving, we
ll probably go to Ohio to spend Turkey Day with all of my Dad
s family, and sometimes during Christmas Break, we
ll probably go to D.C, my favorite city in the world. (I was born there and love it, because, well, let
s face it, I
m a huge history nerd. :D)

Greece is still about 5 hours for us, so not that close. And we’re leaving school at 4.30am
This will probably sound really stupid, but what does D.C have to do with history? Tbh I don’t really understand why Americans have to do so much US history, you don’t even have that much. We study a mix of British and world history, starting at 1066 and working to the present, although obviously we can’t do everything!

OK, yea, history lesson! Washington D.C is our nation
s capital, and it
s where our president lives and where a lot of laws are made…our Congress, like your Parliament, same equivalency, sort of, is in D.C, and it
s where all the historical monuments are at and whatnot, and where various events have happened. President Lincoln was shot and killed in D.C, the British burned the White House (our president
s house) and stuff like that. Wow, this is kinda hard to explain because it
s just a given for us. Ha, but I guess compared to you Brits we don
t have too much history, but to us, we do…I mean, some stuff that may be insignificant to the rest of the world is a huge deal to us.

I suppose we are a little caught up in ourselves, because we were like the first huge place to become an independent country and turned into a global superpower…I mean, let
s face it, the British had complete control over us, and a few simple commoners won…this is kinda an odd conversation to be having with you, since you
re FROM the UK, but we did beat you all, and it was a big deal for us. Hard to explain, but D.C is pretty important. Did I explain anything? Or just completely confuse you?

We study world history too, in high school, and also U.S.

Ah, maybe this`ll help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Washington,_D.C.
The best good answer I can come up with is that if Washington D.C shut down, it could *possibly* paralyze the entire U.S, since that`s where our central everything is at. A tiny place with a huge purpose.

But I like the UK and all too; always wanted to visit.

She asked why D.C was important, so I was just answering the question, which involves facts. Would you have rather I said, “None of you business”?

And I don
t learn anything about the U.S in WHAP besides what it has to do with the world globally, and we haven
t even gotten there yet. What I gave was a basic overview, just to help her out, because I`m sure they learn little about the U.S, just as I know almost nothing about the UK.

The UK country side is nice and so are the Pubs. No offense, UKgirl, but i like Ireland better.

Okay, so i found a way to really inflate my post count. Its called “What are my chances.” As much as i detest that trolling center, i figure i can get away with my spamming of Reach, Low Reach, High Match.

Back on Focus, How many APs do you plan on doing throughout High school?

And mindless angry post of the day. I looked at some of the past C0/16 posts over the past 2 days and saw something to the extent of their town is a poor ghetto because it only has 11-12 APs. sigh Northeastern Kids.

Oh and i always thought that CE257M was Female
