High School Class of 2015

We have various times throughout the year (Fall, winter, and spring pep rally, Homecoming week, etc) to earn points for our class competition. At the end of the year, points are added up, and seniors always win anyhow. But sophomores won the fall pep rally (10 pts. loudest, 10 pts. for most red and white) which is surprising because sophomores are always the quietest. I guess C/O 2015 has too many boys. Can`t keep quiet!

Thats correct! We are never quiet

I couldn’t post last night :/

Anyway, my second attempt was something like this:
Who’s excited for Skyfall? Do you watch James Bond in the US?

My high school has about 2200 people, but that seems to be set to grow pretty rapidly in the future seeing as every class has been bigger than the last.

2550 kids at my school! I could give you the link to the TED that I am speaking if you are interested. Just shoot me a PM!

Do you guys get election day off? I think most do…we do.

we do. wooohooo

We never have any non-major holiday off. My school district is really strict on that

I don’t think so

If anything I would think they’d give us the next day off seeing as the results of the election aren’t known until very late. We only get major holidays odd so it won’t happen either way. Except the year the Colts won the Super Bowl I remember having a two hour delay the next day without hazardous conditions.

My school system`s ridiculous when it comes to days off:

-A day off at the end of each quarter, 2 hour early dismissals at the mid quarters -A ridiculously long Christmas break, and a January break...the Friday before MLK day and then MLK day -Because its VA, and snow is sometimes rare, we get more than one snowflake but < 1 inch, it`s usually canceled, or at least a 2 hour delay

This is why we go to school until June 14th this year, or something like that.

^ My last exam is June 14th, so I’m off after that, but this seems like a really long break for me!

And the snow situation is similar here, the whole country goes into shutdown every time it starts snowing, there are progammes about ‘the big freeze’ a few years ago :)

my High School has 1 Student!

Validictorian all the way! haha

@UKGirl: Never been a big James Bond fan. More of an Sherlock and Inspector Cleause

Dear Watson, if you think about it, you`re also the worst student, and in the bottom 1% as well.

yes, well i hope i get a blearly eyed adcom who is tired from his job and then puts 1 Divided by 1 on his calculator and gets one and puts: Top 1%

I probbably wont put Validictorian on my Applications though. I say that to annoy people who are tying hard to be in the Top Ten. They usually dont appreciated it for some reason.

XD

Well, for those who really want to be Valedictorian, there IS a way. Yes, ladies and gents, all you have to do is become home schooled. Now, it may not be the best idea to put that on your college applications if you are home schooled, but if you want the personal satisfaction, yes, become home schooled NOW.*

*Public Service announcement brought to you by CE527M

Okay. I cant tell if thats a joke or not,

Either way.

very good, very good indeed

Couldn`t you tell I was making a joke? Just kidding around since some folks are all up tight about being #1.

Called lightening the mood.

hahha ce527m i laughed :3

I hope that he’s too sleep deprived to listen to what I’m saying and just in the middle go ‘ah whatever, you seem qualified, you’re in…nexxttt’

So apparently I started a mini crisis.

I’m the student rep for my school on the district board. They asked what was going on in my school, so I explained that yesterday people were wearing rainbow t-shirts in support of a gay teacher who the administration had told to not take pictures of students anymore (there’s a longer story behind that.)

Today morning the principal called me in, and even though she was trying to keep calm and never raised her voice, she was so angry. It didn’t help that I made comments like “So you’d prefer say all is well instead.” Then she said that she has news stations contacting her to speak with me and the teacher (luckily I didnt specify his name to the board) Then she denied that he had ever been told not to take pictures (even though he said it to our whole class), said I wasn’t in trouble (well obviously, I didn’t break any school rules), and sent me off.

I was worried that the teacher would get in trouble but he told me that all was well, and that he stood his ground and defended me to the principal. It’s amazing, I never intended to cause this many issues haha
