High School Class of 2015

Why don’t you guys have school tomorrow?

End of the first quarter, so it`s a “teacher work day” so the teachers can get our final grades for the quarter put in.

@UKgirl, I’m planning to do a Study Year Abroad (SYA) in London. Do you know top boarding schools in London for boys or co-ed? Thanks.

@48007
Its actually Honors Ancient Roman History:

Course Texts:
•Livy: The History of Rome from Its Foundations: The Early History of Rome. Tran. Aubrey De S

Well Westminster is THE best, but they don’t let internationals board unless they have someone they can stay with in London if they’re ill or on exeat weekends.
Dulwich might board? And try Pimlico, can’t remember much about them (they may even be girls)
Most boarding schools are outside London, particularly the top ones. Historical reasons. Also I would imagine a lot won’t take students for a year, as you’ll be in A levels which is all focused round exams.

I’m so much more stressed out this year. I have something to do like every second of the day. Aaand my grades aren’t quite so good.

88 in honors history
89.9 in honors english
and 90 in honors algebra 2.

Luckily I still have a month before the quarter ends, but I’m so bad at math so I’m extremely desperate to keep that A.

Why did some of you have off 2day?
Wish I could’ve gotten off on my birthday lol…

^ See post #3249 for my answer.

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

^^ I liked that subtle fishing for a “happy birthday.” Jk happy birthday!

Guys, are you ever sick of people in your town? I am so bored and tired of seeing the same faces everyday. Everyone is stupid and unoriginal . I can’t wait for college so I can leave this place.

Half the people at my school are people I wouldn
t mind not seeing anymore, but I live 30 minutes away from my school, so I
m OK. All the “good” people live in my area. There
s a town by my school, then there
s the little town I live in, which is better.

I like seeing the same people all the time. I’m comfortable with them.

I feel the same way purpledino, although not for the same reasons. The people in my area are quite smart and very talented. I just want something new because I’m not used to staying in one place for very long.

In one way I AGREEE. AS a homeschooler im tired of seeing my siblings EVERY FRIGGIN DAY

I hate my school, not so bothered with all the people in my town though. Just hate the location. Can’t wait to move to London/Oxford/US

Bump…

Well my school has 2000+ students. If it was like 500 people I’d be insane by now.

2,400 students at my school, but I see the same ones usually, so…

This week is homecoming week at my school, and today was Halloween Day (Dress up in Halloween costume), tomorrow
s nerd day, Thursday
s camo day, and Friday is Red and White day (school colors).

We already had homecoming week, but now were doing a red red spirit week. Yesterday was shades day, today (well none of us did today’s because we wore shirts in support for a teacher that had some problems with administration about him being gay), tommorow is wacky tacky day (which I’m not doing because I’m going to a field trip to the water district), Thursday is dress up nice day, Friday is wear red day.

We had spirit week 2 weeks ago, it was fun:) The sophomores BEAT the seniors, but we didn’t get the spirit stick since it’s customary for the seniors to have it.
