^After seeing the movie trailer I keep wanting to read Life of Pi

Life of pi is probably 3x as good as the movie; the book was really good.

I read flowers for algernon I think because my grandpa was telling me how his college professor was writing it when he attended Ohio state

Also… Do you guys think its that important to do a sport (and get into a top school… Possibly Princeton)? I couldn’t do any sports for the past few years because I had chest pain while vigorously exercising (anything involving jumping/bouncing; jogging)… The doctors said I’m fine so I picked up running (having trouble keeping up with it) … But joining a sport is a ton of work… Especially since it’ll probably be practice get home for a little bit babysitting for 3 hours, hw, bed, most everyday of the week… I really want to (mostly because of college) but I’m already wiped at the end of the day… :(

^join golf. You get a sport without get your heartbeat up.

Join a sport if you love it, and if you are good enough, you might get recruited. Otherwise, it is just like an other extra-curricular activity.

Oh my gosh, guys! I’m speaking at TEDxYouth@TheBeltline in a week from today! I’m feeling both nervous and excited.

Okay Hobbit:

1 Dont pee your pants onstage

2 Dont Faint

3 Dont mumble

4 Dont be that shy kid who everyone spends 10 minutes looking for

5 Dont say stupid jokes

Follow the 5 rules to give a great speech and youll do fine

(From my Debate Class: the 5 high rules to speeches)

UK (unofficial) rules of debating:
- NEVER mention Hitler
- Never mention god (except in a religious debate)
- No foxing, squirrelling or badgering
- No countering POI answers

:D
(I’m in a really good mood because I just got back from a set of exams and interviews for a school to a letter from WESTMINSTER school saying I did well in the exams and am getting and interview!!!)

Why is nothing happening online tonight?!?

Wow look at all the book conversations.

I didn`t go to school today…I think I have the flu, 102 degree temperature…fun. I slept until like 3:30

I honestly think the flu shot is somewhat of a hoax; I’ve never once gotten a flu shot (or the nose spray thing) and I have never in my life gotten the flu (neither had either of my siblings or my mom)… My mom never let us get it because she had a young teacher get the shot and die from the flu a few weeks later… Just thought I’d put that our there…

Yeah, I think it`s pointless.

I once got the swine flu vaccine (the nose spray thing) and ended up getting swine flu.

lol the C/O 2013 had a heated debate last week on vaccines

I’ve never been vaccinated for any flu. Got the flu once.

I always get flu vaccinated and have gotten the flu a couple times. I actually just got it today aha

Have fun being sick haha. Not very fun.

No I got the shot today, not flu

Yeah but from what everyone
s saying on here, won
t be long before you have it.

I have asthma, so I’m offered the flu vaccine every year, but never had it and never had flu. I did, however, get the one for swine flu but still ended up getting it.
There’s a reason it was the first shot I’ve ever gotten (except tetanus)

I got a flu shot the year when swine flu was “epidemic”. don’t know if it helped but I didn’t get the flu. :D

I didn`t get the shot for the swine flu, and never got it.
Ughhh still sick, I dont think I
ll be back at school until Monday, and I have all this stuff due, and I`m too sick to even work on it. Lotsa fun.
