High School Class of 2015

Lol, the kids around where i live think you have to be a genius to get into Ole Miss.

my teacher said next Monday we’ll get our PSAT scores.

My former counselor (left school this semester) tried to withhold my scores from me. I ended up getting a 195… I’m really not fond of standardized tests and am planning apply to test optional schools.

Everyone asks me why I take APs and do all of my homework. In reality, most kids at my school end up going to the local community college. They don’t really care.

Are you my neighbor? :D

Bump it .

Any more stereotypes?

And are you all happy if I quote you in my blog post?

@shmluza Maybe! :D

It’s so bad. Seniors are so lazy and couldn’t care less. They casually say, “Whatever, I’ll just go to (community college).” I’d be so upset. But maybe it’s because I really admire a good work ethic in others, and that’s why it irks me to see people not care.

I got my PSAT results today and got a 214! I was so happy when I got them back :slight_smile: good luck to all of you who are waiting for your scores!!

@awflap, I think more seniors at our school go to csusb than community college. If my only option was community college, I just wouldn’t go.

That’s ridiculous.

If it was my only choice, I’d go to community college then transfer. A hell of a lot cheaper, and it won’t have too much of an effect on me to switch career paths.

I got 203 (PSAT). I am pretty happy. I should be able to do better. I made some extremely stupid mistakes in math.

Congrats everyone, on your PSAT scores! Still haven’t gotten mine yet.

Well, tomorrow is the last day of school before break, and I have to bring in food for two of my classes (was smart and signed up for the same thing in each class so it wouldn’t be too big of a hassle). Actually, for my history class, we have to dress up as an absolute ruler and bring food in, yes my teacher is really like that. And me being me, I didn’t think to look and see what absolute ruler just wore a simple dress, and instead, picked Elizabeth I…http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/eb/Elizabeth_I_in_coronation_robes.jpg/220px-Elizabeth_I_in_coronation_robes.jpg</a> -_-

Anywho, after school, I’m going with my youth group in town to see a parade and Christmas vendors, eat dinner, and then go to a secret hot chocolate location. Special tradition :)

guys you’ve got awesome PSAT scores, RoseOak, nomatterwhat, and everyone! I think above 200 for sophomores is very impressive. I hope I can be with you guys but I’m really not sure. I’m nervous, but anyway, there’s next year. I will have to wait until next Monday (or later) to get my score. :(

I understand going to a community college and then transferring to save money, but the seniors here have no problems attending for four years. I guess it’s the right fit for someone if he or she isn’t disappointed.

@Teaspoons
You should consider that getting straight A’s is not what matters. After all, think what that number on your report card really tells you. What does that number mean. Some teachers might be hard and give you a B while other teachers might be easy and give you an A. Or it might just be that you are really good at things and got straight A’s. It could also mean that your teacher was extremely easy. So yes, that number does mean something in a sense but does it really represent the amount of things you learned in that class. After all, that’s why we go to school… Just a thought…

@CE527M and shmluza thanks! I was hoping for a 210+ so I’m very happy!

If I get a 200 I will jump for joy, because I dont think anyone got that high at our school last year

Congrats

I think mine willsuck

@Awflapjackz, I don’t think I’d be happy going to a CC - just saying. I know what you mean.
