You’re lucky. Our schools rarely close in cases of heavy snowfall.

We get snow so rarely that nothing carries on in it
I’m also ecstatic because les mis is finally online. Afternoon sorted :D

Also, just as a warning now, if it really does snow I will be up posting excitedly in the middle of the night.

It snows here every day. You’d like it.

Perhaps. It’s more the rarity and chance of school being cancelled that’s exciting :)

I live in the Midwest, in America, and we got nine inches the day after Christmas and finally just completely melted a few days ago.

We’ve been snowless so far this winter, but we normally get more in february than any other time :)

Class of 2015 Baby! Does anyone follow Sophmores on twitter?

Hey UK as in University of Kentucky?

^No to both. I may be wrong, but I don’t think Kentucky is known for its excessive rainfall.

@Sychmano no. :)

In my state we get a TON of snow.
I remember one year my district ran out of built-in snow days so all of us had to go to school for an extra 20 minutes afterward.

Anyway @sychmano: welcome! I don’t have a twitter so obviously I don’t follow them. XD

We don’t ever get snow…ok that’s a lie, two years ago we got like 6 inches, year before that, we were out of school for a month…but last year and so far this year, pretty much nothing. This is why I hate VA. I love it, but I hate it.

Out for a month!?! That’s pretty serious.

Les Mis is getting dull now, too much singing for me.

I don’t do musicals. My friends now hate me.

I might have said Les Mis is a dumb movie

I love Les Mis!! But I get why some people wouldn’t like it.

It’s better than a lot of movies I’ve seen, and some musicals. I’m not really a musicals person, but I’m really into historical stuff so I thought I’d give it a try. The best musical I’ve seen was Cabaret set in Nazi Germany :)

It’s definitely improved with the arrival of Eddie Redmayne but I got distracted at some point which means I’m not emotionally attached to the characters, and that means I get bored.

I saw Les Mis… same opinion as CE527M.
@UKgirl I started watching Privates. the 1st episode was quite interesting. i’m not used to this kind of british cinematography. :D

What’s different about it?
And I don’t know if I mentioned it before, but there’s a spoiler in the intro scenes, so don’t look too closely :)
