Saw Gangster Squad today; pretty good movie.

fostej15, no AP sucks! I feel sorry for you, even though AP means work, at times too much.

Semester just ended. I managed to pull my English grade up, so now I have all As. :D

^Congrats! :)

My school’s AP program kind of sucks, but at least they have them. We have Traditional (non-weighted), Honors, AP, IB, dual credit.

I’m surprised at how awesome our AP program is, considering half-most of the kids are my school aren’t all that motivated. The AP teachers are really good I guess. A couple years ago we got some big grant because some girl took like every single AP course offered, so Exxon Mobile gave us a big grant. Now we don’t have to pay to take AP tests and if we get a 3 or above we get a $100.

^Dang. That sounds awesomely amazing.

I’m going to convince someone to do that next year… :p

haha it’s through this thing: [National Math and Science Initiative](http://www.nationalmathandscience.org/)

I think the girl took a lot of the science and math APs

We also have all the classes at pretty much the same level too. AH is slightly above AP though, so it’s more like you do it as the general course of study.

Finished midterms, except for the chemistry one I have on Tuesday.
Next year my school is getting rid of double period science classes, good thing or bad thing? I was thinking both.
The AP program at my school isn’t too bad either.

My paperround was fun in the snow this morning… And I was supposed to be babysitting tonight, but one of them has appendicitis so I guess I’m staying broke for a while :)

Being Broke causes the most adventures

Long time no see. Finished up exams and second semester starts on Wednesday… Managed an A in English and I expecting all A’s for my yearlong courses… I recently realized how competitive my class is… There’s two other sophomores I know of in AP physics , not to mention the handle full in ap Calc and ap English (for juniors)… My rank is #3, but I’m realizing my classes aren’t all that rare…

I’m really starting to think about where I want to go and what I want to major in, I really want to produce my own ‘indie’ games and produce my own films… But that doesn’t seem like a very practical sort of job… Finance and business also is kind of appealing… Nutrition is also something I want to take a few classes in… Brown, Princeton, Stanford, duke… All seem promising and appealing… I’m so indecisive right now
…

Also I have a real lack of ECs I feel, just student council, my academics, and a service club… And also my babysitting. :\ … I’m just reevaluating the game plan here

teaspoons welcome back!

Anybody doing model UN? I’m planning to do it this year. I missed mock trial. >.<

I thought about it. But, alas, I have after-school things Monday-Thursday and thought that model UN would become just another “obligation” instead of something to do for fun, y’know?

I wish we had Model UN at my school.

I’m sort of doing MUN at the moment, which basically means going to the meetings but not taking part. We only started a few weeks ago, and there’s only a few people who aren’t juniors or seniors who are allowed to go, so I’m sort of nervous about it

I considered joining MUN, but decided I couldn’t be bothered.

…I’m not the most motivated person.

I applied to my school’s MUN and found out I got in last week! Which I am unbelievably excited about since we get to go to a conference in Milan in April and talk politics~

Ew, politics…
I mean, it’s great that you guys like it and all, but there would be a -1000% chance of me joining that club even if we did have it at my school.

The trip sounds cool, though!

School’s almost certainly off tomorrow because of the snow :D

Jokes on you Ukgirl…US schools are closed anyhow! And I personally get Tues and Wednesday off for a teacher workday. :D
