<p>Our second semester started yesterday. Two days of delayed opening because it was too cold - almost below zero!</p>
<p>Second semester started Jan. 8th for us. </p>
<p>Only three days left for swim season!! Excited but also really sad 
I’m a lot closer to the seniors this year than those last year.</p>

There’s four lunch periods at my school, each 25 min long, man I wish my lunch could be longer but whatever ya know?

<p>Second semester started yesterday for my school; first semester finals were last week. The only class I think I’ll have a problem with for this semester is Pre-AP English…</p>
<p>@Collegefounatinn. I play fun run. It helps aide my procrastination. I’m too addicted to that game. Second Semester starts next monday for me. Tomorrow’s my last day of midterms (AP Chem and AP World).</p>
<p>I watched PLL for a while, but it got so repetitive I stopped at the end of the last series.
I had to decide my classes for next year back in October while I was applying to schools for next year, but if I was staying at my school I’d still have to have decided a few weeks ago.</p>
<p>Guyyysss I didn’t have lunch with ANYONE but found out I know people in the other cafeteria, so I’m moving to there tomorrow!</p>
<p>My school of 2300 students has one cafe, and their are 6 possible lunch times. I have the earliest: 9:06-9:46.
And nope we can’t go out. There’s nothing really to eat near the school anyway though. I mentioned way before that my school used to have open-campus but a student went missing after leaving for lunch and was later found dead they specifically no longer do open campus because of that.</p>
<p>So are all of you guys doing “finals”? Am I the only doing “midterms”? I had Global History on Tuesday, Theatre Arts and French yesterday, and Chemistry today. Tomorrow is English and Algebra 2/Trig.</p>
<p>Da heq? Lunch at 9:00 AM??? That’s crazy. I’m now content with this semester now that I have people I know that have my lunch.</p>
<p>@petlover…no we have midterms…well, for my AP World since that’s a year long class, but the rest of my classes were finals because they were semester long.</p>
<p>School is canceled here because it’s supposed to snow tomorrow!!! :)</p>
<p>Downside is, my youth group is SUPPOSED to go on a retreat with other youth groups tomorrow (which is the funnest thing in the world, even if you guys aren’t religious you’d like it because it’s pretty much 36 hours of all fun and little sleep, but I digress) but it might get canceled because of the snow Since school is closed, now I’m fine with getting little-no snow :)</p>

<p>Chem: Dont feel confident about how I did. Then on the open response he gave me an F. I thought it was B worthy (my friend put the same thing and got a B.) He’s mad b/c we were assigned to make a video, and my group made ours making fun of him lol.</p>
<p>Precalc: Did better than expected. I hope I got a 64% (minimum required for me to retain a B.)</p>
<p>Dang CE, how many snow days have you gotten? Sounds like you already have twice as many as we’ve gotten in the past three years!! :p</p>
<p>@petlover same as CE, except we took ours literally the day we came back from break. Not fun. </p>

<p>^this is our 2nd day this year…we don’t get a whole lot of snow, so anything will get us out. One year though, we had like 20 inches at one and were out for like almost a month. It hasn’t actually done anything yet, but the reports are sketchy as to when the snow is going to come (in the morning vs. later in the day) so for some reason they went ahead and closed the school.</p>
<p>@elven he’s actually a cool guy, really funny. But he has a temper, can get annoying, and takes things personally</p>
<p>Now tommorow I have to convince my Spanish teacher that I did do my assignments.</p>
<p>We only have finals that count at the end of sophomore year, which are worth up to 100% of our grade for the 2 previous years. It’s going to be so stressful, but on the bright side, I finish school in early may then only have to come in for my exams, which run from mid may to 17th June, after which I’m free!</p>
<p>Same here, but our exams start at the end of April (standard grade are done early for some reason). Despite this, everyone has study leave at the same time, so the final half of it is pretty much a holiday for my year.</p>
<p>Yay I got the application for the Young Birders Event at Cornell. Are any of you planning on doing any collegiate summer camps this year?</p>
