My school messed up many people’s report cards. I’m lucky, mine was not messaged up and I got all As. I’m happy.
goodnoodle, that sucks. But GPA is determined by final grades right?

@goodnoodle. Same thing happened to me. So mad and angry at him. Turned in an assignment on wednesday and he “lost it”. Now, i’m starting off the semester with a 34%.

Shmluza, no semester grades count for GPa too…it’s whatever though, I’m moving on and being positive

Congrats shmluza!
ClassOf2015, goodnoodle: do your schools have some sort of policy or other way for students/parents to complain about incompetent teachers?

I guess my mom could go complain, but its not worth dwelling in the past. I have a bad reputation for completing hw in that class, so Idk how much my word is worth. I always do my hw there but it’s usually incomplete (even though the last assignment that’s being referenced was fully completed.)

It’s just the first week. Yeah he’s really incompetent. Last year semester he didn’t grade almost half of the tests and homework. He didn’t grade four essays and a presentation.

I have an amazing 5 days coming up, probably won’t be on CC much though!

I have a very incompetent English teacher, but even when we complained to the headmaster about her she didn’t do anything except have a talk with me to try to make me believe I was doing fine and we were learning all we should (I got a C, not fine). I’m just going to have to teach myself some of the course, which is annoying but not the end of the world.

Aarrrggggghhhhh im so fustrated right now. Ive become interested in McGill and it seems like the perfect school for me. I was waiting for “the catch” to become clear. I thought it would be something more to do with visas or tuition or whatever but nope, its my family’s personal issues. my grandparents used to babysit their neighbor’s kids-one of them eventually went to McGill. When her family was taking her back to montreal from NY, they drove off a cliff
My grandmother says that the sheer thought of me going there is “unacceptable”.

^That’s awful, but it’s a bit harsh to force the avoidance on you as well, especially as you didn’t even know about what happened. Couldn’t your grandmother just not visit you or whatever?

I’m going into London tomorrow to see John Green (author/vlogger) and I’m crazy excited. I got 4 and a half hours sleep last night because I stayed at a friend’s but I’ve been so wide awake all day. And I have been repeating Just Give Me a Reason by p!nk and Nate Ruess for over an hour… (i’m going to see either p!nk or fun. in April, can’t decide which!) But yeah, I’m in a really weird mood right now.

@UKgirl23 JOHN GREEN IS IN LONDON???!!! Omg whereeee

Oh so midterm grades: I got a 100 in English XD, 99 in French, 96 in Chem, 94-Theatre Arts, 93 in Global History, 91 in Algebra 2/Trig, 81 in Career/Financial Management, and I ddint get my PE midterm grade yet. The only grade that wasnt a shocker to me was French, I was expecting 80’s on Chem and Alebra 2/Trig and high 90’s on Global and CFM. English I was expecting high 90’s and the 100 was a surprise. That midterm was a critical lens essay: I applied the quote to Atticus Finch and Katniss Everdeen. Apparenlty I was the only kid in the whole school who did the Hunger Games XD
I have 3 second quarter GPA’s: 99-English, 99-French, and 96-CFM. I have a terrible feeling that this is the first quarter so far in high school that I won’t have a single 100 :(

Anybody here doing Science Olympiad??

@westward Cadogan Hall, but it sold out ages ago :/
