<p>That’s ironic, I had a dream a couple weeks ago I would meet you all somewhere…what a CC nerd I am! I always have the most obscure odd dreams. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll meet you guys and not even know it.</p>

<p>Personally I’ve kinda lost the allure of CC. Ill still use it, but its not as entertaining as it used to be. But hey I’ve been pretty active here on the last few days since I’ve been sick.</p>

<p>@goodnoodle I agree. I always hated track, but did it to keep my run fitness up for xc and triathlons. I love swimming so much that I’ve gone back to doing around 7 hours a week :D</p>
<p>I hope we do all meet up one day. It would be really strange to see people I’ve just talked to online for years, but still cool 
(I still have it in my head that the majority of you are guys, even those I know aren’t, CEM in particular…)</p>

<p>So yesterday we did a White House tour, went to the Smithsonian museum of American history, went to the National Archives, went on a tour of the Capitol, and went to the place where Lincoln died. Pretty cool. Today were going to the museum of crime and punishment, Ford theatre, and viewing some monuments.</p>
<p>^Awesome. Museum of Crime and Punishment is pretty cool, kinda scary in the room where they have all these posters about serial killers from the 1900’s all the way up to the Virginia Tech shooter. Ford’s Theater is really cool too, you even get to go to the house across the street where they put him. </p>

whoops. We did go to the place where Lincoln died yesterday and today some of us went to the theatre, I didn’t. Today we also saw the Lincoln memorial, the monuments of Korean, Vietnam, and WW2, and the Smithsonian Air and Space.</p>
<p>And I also made sure to go to a seafood restaurant in Silver Spring so I could eat Maryland Blue Crab in Maryland XD</p>
<p>Oddly enough, one of my highlights of the trip is being in Montgomery County, Maryland (our hotel is in Silver Spring). Here they have a school system that is very sucessful and promotes two things I support: educational equity and school choice. I also find it cool how you guys down south have county-wide school districts. My county alone has 68 school districts.</p>
<p>Aha yeah, I like having the county-wide school districts. In my county, however, there’s only one high school so that limits us a little…</p>
<p>Glad you had a good time, the memorials are fantastic.</p>
<p>Finally on half term. Any of you guys on spring break yet?</p>

<p>What the heck is “mid-winter” break??? We get spring break, which is always attached to Easter.</p>
<p>We basically have the same thing except a ‘half-term’ holiday in the middle of the winter/spring term/trimester which is only a week long. So far, it has been the most unproductive 3 days of my life. I’ve watched 4 films, some TVD, lots of tv last night (do any of you watch Ripper Street?), am in the middle of rewatching every single amazingphil video on youtube, and spent a lot of time refreshing CC. The joys of my life…</p>
<p>We got our Mid-Winter break ripped apart because of Hurricane Sandy. My birthday’s this Thursday too, nooooo</p>
