High School Class of 2015

Key Club-

Service program for high school students. A student led organization that teaches leadership through helping others

What can I say? I’m that awesome. BTW, if I haven’t made it clear, I’m a guy :D.
Key Club, according to most that I know in my high school, is a club for generally the popular preppy kids who have no real interest but padding applications. But that’s just my HS.

Hello, fellow freshmen, my high school starts tomorrow and, I gotta say, I’m really excited.

There’s block scheduling at my high school. It’s weird because my Odd Days are really chill (Humanities, Honors English, Marching Band) with really entertaining (crazy) teachers, and my Even Days are intense (Honors Spanish, Honors Biology, Honors Geometry) with REALLY REALLY strict teachers who love to give out busy work.
Anyone else have block scheduling?

@Political, LOL! Awesomesauce guy. :smiley:
@IATEase, we had to suffer the block schedule at 8th grade. It was like a nightmare to me. I hope it works better for you. I almost lost my straight As because of that stupid schedule. I forgot to bring in my homework, esp. if there was a snow day or something. Sometimes there would be a whole week we didn’t have our French!! It was absolultey crazy.

Key club sounds like a junk club. I am not interested. :p

I had block scheduling throughout middle school and now I’ll have it throughout high school. Oh, joy. I hate sitting through two-hour classes all day…

We had block schedule in middle school as well and it was terrible!
Band again today - this week in the afternoon, what about you, slmluza?

My XC tryouts are this week. Gotta run a 5k in under 20 minutes, ugh that’s going to be a pain.

omg Political you’re insane! Anyway good luck!

That’s. Crazy. Good luck from me also!

we don’t even have tryouts for golf because we need 5 people to play and we only have 7

Thanks guys. It should be rough, I be ifax has it tougher.

In my school with 700 something kids, 'bout 80 kids try out for each sport…per grade. Except for sports like Bowling.

yeah good luck Political.
@golf, you get sunburn easily? I do, kind of. My face skin is peeling off because of band last week and I didn’t re-apply the sunscreen.
I still have band most of the days this week, but today we stayed indoors to practice our music, no marching.

Guys, always remember (tip from a rising Sophomore), 4 hours of homework, 8 hours of studying for SAT, 4 hours of sleep, 8 hours of school!

The only way to succeed.

My schedule (frosh of course)

AP Calc BC
AP Euro
AP Comp Sci A
Honors Bio
Honors English
Mandarin Chinese 1-2

^ What in the ****?

AP Calc BC freshmen year? Where the **** did you go to for Middle School, holy ****. In my High School, I will be lucky to take AP Calc AB in Junior year IF I skip pre-calc, if not senior, and you’re taking it freshmen year?

So you passed Algebra/Geometry/ALGTrig2/PreCalc all in middle school?

My mind is full of ****.

Sorry for the offensive language, I am in disbelief.

^ I’ve known middleschoolers who took precalculus then skipped to Calc BC for freshman year. But it’s not very common, obviously.

Yah, you are obviously really good at math.
Luckily I dont have to try out for XC, I’m not very athletic

Good luck Political. Hope you do well at your XC tryouts.

lhellum…do you go to Basic High in Arizona?
