It said I had below average skills in writing. I’m a future English major, won my school’s English award, am working as a full-time, paid English/writing teacher at a private college-prep school this year

<p>I wasted sooo much time studying for the SAT. I wish I’d just studied less and taken the ACT instead - I would’ve done better on it anyway.</p>

<p>I got a 1920 on the SAT during the spring of sophomore year. Then I took the ACT at the beginning of junior year and got a 31. Big improvement. I’ve been ACT-focused since then (although I may just give the SAT another chance in October).</p>
<p>I took the SAT in June and got a 2000…first AND last time I’m taking it…no need for me to take the ACT imho </p>
<p>Is taking the SAT worth it if I want to focus on my ACT? I just need to get my damned math and science scores up; someone tell me how I managed a 36 on English and a 25 on Math…</p>
<p>@codexsplanade if you have time to take it this year it’s always worth a shot, the two are pretty different so you could do better on the SAT even without studying, or vice versa.<br>
Unfortunately I got pretty much equal scores: 2080 SAT, 32 ACT. I’m focusing on the SAT in October…</p>

<p>I got a 33 twice in the ACT (36,36,29,32) and (32,34,31,35).
Today was my 15th day of school, we started on Aug 6th. I’m stressed out about writing all the supplement essays. Luckily I already have a good draft for my common app essay.</p>
<p>Im taking the ACT for the first time in October… I’ve been taking practice tests and im blown away by how easy it is. Im hoping for 35+</p>
