<p>Two college apps down, hopefully zero to go!</p>
<p>I’m trying my best to recycle my Penn State essay for other schools, but it’s just not working.</p>
<p>2 down, 3 to go. I’m hoping to get Rutgers done by the end of this week, and Maryland by next week. Then all I’ll have left is UD and its honors supplements, which I’m hoping to have done by the beginning of November (not due until January 1). </p>
<p>Get this. The questbridge application was due 11:59:59. I finished my short answers and hit submit and was processed at 11:59:38 (According to my clock) Total clutch but that part is irrelevant right now 
. A lot of the short responses were also a part of the Stanford supplement!!! Satisfaction.</p>
<p>@lotusspell I’m applying to Berkeley. I just put the positions I held in the descriptions. And definitely put multiple leadership positions you held in the descriptions. Especially since you can only have 5 activities, I would leave multiple positions in the same activity together. And unfortunately I can’t help you with A-G courses. I’m not from California so I wouldn’t be much help.</p>
<p>So fall break has been less fall break and more fall essays and homework.
I’ve got a week to read and annotate Frankenstein, do an econ chapter, take a calc II test, study for the SAT II, and fill out my applications.</p>
<p>Sigh.</p>
<p>Fall Break? What is this fall break? I want some of this fall break!! But you’re right, even with a break we probably wouldn’t be able to enjoy it.</p>
<p>Two extra days of studying, is how I’d like to think of it.</p>
<p>On another note, Physics is straight up kicking my ass right now. Real Talk. </p>
<p>Fluid Dynamics… what is this stuff?? I’ve tried for week trying to understand it. Test is tomorrow and it just ain’t happening.</p>

<p>Speaking of physics, I should never have enrolled in calc-based physics at my local CC while taking AP Bio. Is dropping the class a bad idea?</p>

<p>@Nihilunt dropping the class is not a bad idea. Don’t overwork yourself if that’s the case. Have fun your senior year, it only happens once!</p>
<p>Ah Fall break…how I miss you.</p>
<p>Freshmen year it was two weeks and then sophomore year it was dropped to one then junior/senior year it was removed since our mayor wanted to put all our public schools on the same track being we start and end school later.</p>
<p>A break would have been a great time to study and work on college apps. /sigh </p>

<p>Anyone get an app fee waiver letter from Brandeis, and if so, any idea why? It’s not financial need based, is it simply for attending an info session and tour? </p>
<p>I got one a few weeks ago, never visited. Just requested info from their site. </p>
