High School Class of 2015

I pretty much only have to edit one essay and write three more.

AP Euro quiz today; wish me luck!

I dropped my DE physics class… so that I can take it next semester. :frowning:

Too much work in too little time. At least my work load will decrease as the year passes. On the bright side, it’ll give me more time to edit my essays!

I never have free time anymore I thought senior year was supposed to be easy

Me too, @Jellybae‌, me too.

Common app essay is almost done. It’s in the last stages of editing. After that, it will be reviewed by family, friends and teachers. So close.

@Jellybae what extracurriculars do you do?

Lol I feel like next year we’ll be telling seniors how easy writing all the essays are.

Nah…well maybe…actually, yeah definitely

Yes. It’s so easy we’ll say. It won’t even take an hour we’ll say. muhahahaha >:)

Ya know, originally, I thought I wouldn’t have more than one or two people read my common app essay. Now that I’ve written it, though, I kinda want to show it to EVERYONE.
The struggle.

@marshmallowpop I think there’s a point where you just have to call it quits. I’m on my 6th revision, and after one more thats what I’ll be doing. Just in time to get my Cornell app in for ED

I have all of my essays for all of the schools I’m planning to apply to written, Ive been working on them over the last few months, editing, revising, peer review, etc. I just need my teachers to finish their rec letters and I’ll be ready to send all of the apps off.

Hopefully sat goes fairly well this saturday. I think I regret making the decision doing SAT. I’m studying using the blue book. The math section isn’t even math, it’s logical BS.

Just finished the common app essay. Now, I’ve just been told taht it doesn’t display my true potential. Back to square one.

Still no final essays.

ouch @Hawkace . November 1 is almost upon us.

@emenya‌

I know, I know. Don’t remind me. :frowning:

What about you? How many essays have you finished?

@BPearlman97‌ I went through a ton of drafts, and thought I was finally done with the common app essay (I even submitted that essay for NMSF)… and then I decided to email it to a family friend who’s a dean at a college (that I’m not applying to).
He gave me really good feedback, but the problem is, it was all general. Like, he told me what ideas I should include, but he didn’t tell me how to go about it (which is fine, obviously. I don’t want him doing my work haha).
Now, I’m stuck trying to figure out how to work this valuable feedback into an essay that I thought I had finished.

And I haven’t started supplements.

@Hawkace‌

Completely done with my common app. I started that one over the summer because I figured that would be the most difficult. All of my Stanford supplements are done except for the letter to the roommate. (But something will compel me to tweak them later most likely) But for my other schools, I still have a LONG way to go. :-<

lol @marshmallowpop‌ The pros and cons of feedback.

@emenya‌ tell me about it :/

Really regret not researching more colleges over the summer. :frowning: Just found out Georgetown has a lot of the stuff I’m looking for, but I haven’t taken any SAT IIs. No idea if I even have time at this point!

@marshmallowpop‌ You have no idea how happy I am to see a fellow senior with no final essays.

EDIT: That sounds mean, but you know what I mean. Sorry.
