High School Class of 2015

Julius Caesar. Simple and to the point.

I have a project about the presidential candidates - we are supposed to choose one of them, and report on where his money came from, why did people give him money. we are supposed to investigate PACs, Super PACs, and demographics of the donors. etc. omg.

I know we are not supposed to ask for help on homework.

But, @political, can you help me, please??
jk - well, partly.

@Classof Unless those kids go crazy with stress and what not. Besides, colleges like to hear you were number one, but they also like to see other things like extra curriculars too.

Almost straight A’s maybe next time… 3 A+'s,1 A, and 1 B+(Algebra II Honors, love it or hate it).

A B plus in Freshman year? Apparently, grades these days are even viewed subjectively, so don’t worry about it.

Do your schools send grades by semester? Or by final grades only in your transcript?

My Freshman Quarter grades are
PE: A (96.9%)
English 1 Honors: A (96.6%)
Spanish 1: A (96.7%)
USB: A (93.1%)
Biology Honors: A+ (99.4%)
Geometry Honors: A (93.3)

Eng and Bio have dropped slightly since the quarters 2 weeks ago but are still A and A+ repectively.

My school sends final grades. I’m not worried about the B+ though, its not too far off from my goal in that class which is an A- overall.

I think my school also sends final grades. I’m not 100% sure though.

Hi guys how’re you all doing? It’s too quiet here. come on!

This thread will liven up a bit while time moves on.

BTW, I got a 100% on my bio test O_o

Wake up thread :3!

Great job raysman!
I did poorly in my bio lab (dissecting the frog) because I didn’t find out I needed to turn in that worksheet until one minute before it was due.  Hopefully that won’t affect my grade for this term.

Lol these are your freshmen year grades. They’ll have little to no bearing on your future.

@Francasisalamatt, it is probably true. In fact, it is true. But … :D

well it doesn’t hurt to do well.

wow you guys dissected stuff already? we don’t get to dissect frogs until spring -_-

shmluza, I’m not saying otherwise. However, the definition of “well” has been distorted by rampant grade inflation and a perfection-or-die attitude that’s taken hold of many people. So, I wouldn’t sweat your GPA too much in high school, since a college (and post-college) experience doesn’t just depend on the school you get into, but what you do with it.

@francaislaamatt, well said - I guess, since that’s exactly what my mom has been telling me. (esp.

Has anyone even thought about where they are going? Is it to early.

I think it’s a bit too early. but it doesn’t hurt to think and hope.
