High School Class of 2015

Not early at all. You have to know where you want to go to make sure you succeed from the start in HS.

UCLA please

Gaaahhhhhh I had to drop down from honors in my math course… My math teacher made it so extremely hard… And my school does not have any honors for the language that I am in. Oh well, If I work hard enough in normal trig I will be re-recommended for honors precalc.
Also Latin has no honors. Or English. Or physics. Or history. Not for freshman anyway. Only for soph’s.

Umm where I want to go? I guess a good college? Preferably a “great” college, which I know is subjective. I mean great as accredited, anyway.

@Marshfrog, why is your math so hard? Are you doing trig? Is it really hard? Good luck to you.

I’m doing algebra II. Next year will be trig and precal for me. My math so far is good. (104/100 at the end of the first term. so far second term I’m also having something like 103/100. lol make of it what you will… ) I hope trig won’t beat me.

What’s hard for me is H. bio. Also AP gov is hard too.

Hey guys, I will actually be in the Class of 2016 as a redshirt freshman next year. I’ve started taking a type of “gap year” (for somewhat personal reasons) and am very excited about it!

Wake up thread! Change of topic. Anyone here volunteer? I volunteer two hours every week to read to children with dyslexia at the local elementary school. In total, I have 25 service hours, and I need at least 40 service hours by senior year to get a seal on my diploma.

I volunteer a helluva a load. I have about 70 hours so far this year.
Anyone here intern? I just got back my internship hours, I had 150. I guess all the stuff I did at home counted as well!
In another news, I made the high school biology team and the freshmen basketball team!!!

How do you find out your volunteer hours? like how did you know you’ve got 150?

I’ve got like 30-40 from proctoring a study hall and doing some school volunteering stuff

They kept track lolol.

I’ve got about 65 hours. Anyways, how has everybody’s extra-curricular activities and sports been going? I’ve made lawyer on my mock trial team! Anyone have a MUN at their school? I’m thinking about starting one.

You don’t have MUN? WHAT HAS THIS WORLD COME TO?!

Lol. Yes, what has this world come to PoliticalProtege? Are you or any other of you guys part of their MUN. Also, do you guys find CC as a reason for your procrastination? I know I do, but I rarely post because I feel like I’ll just waste more time. Not that CC is a waste of time…

Eh, I don’t have time to procrastinate :(.
And yes, I’m a member of MUN. Although, freshmen can’t go to conferences at my school, but I do help older kids.

Who are “They”???

No time to procrastinate? I always find time. BTW, nomatterwhat, “they” is the specific school administrator that has the job of collecting and verifying student’s community service hours. In my county, they usually show up on our report cards.

Really? Schools collect information about volunteer hours? I don’t know that!

^ya because you have to get like 100 to graduate high school

In other news, I finally hit six feet. Yay me!
