High School Class of 2015

^ WOW. You are one tall freshman. I’m only 5’7’’, though I’m a girl.

5’7’s not short for a girl. Where I live I wouldn’t say it’s tall, but certainly not short.
And despite being tall according to you, I’m the shortest post player. On the freshman team.

At least you guys aren’t 5’2, and don’t have to wonder if you’ll be short forever… :/

^I’m sure you’ll get taller, some people even grow well into their twenties.
^^You must have a really good team. Congrats on making it on!

Thank you. I appreciate it.

Any advice a freshman who ****ed up his 1st and 2nd quarter grades, w/ and average of a 2.5gpa the first and a 3.0+gpa possible for the 2nd one?
Do I still have a chance? proposing that I actually stop my bad habits, do HW, study, and put effort in my education? chance for prestigious unis? (my big sis is in one, so I have a lot on my back)
Should I drop my honors classes? they were recommended my my 8th grade teachers! I know I can do the work, I’m just too lazy!
How does one cure procrastination?!

I’m also in the class of 2015, so woohoo!

My schedule is:

Algebra 2 honors/ Aops Precalculus
English 1 pre-ib
Ap biology
Ap statistics
Ap world history
Latin 1 pre-ib

So yeah, it’s not the hardest out there, but i’m trying :).

^^^Your welcome Political.
^^I find that I can overcome my procrastination by thinking about how doing the assignment will get me a better grade in the class which will raise my GPA allowing me to go to a better college and ultimately affect my future. It is somewhat exaggerated, but it helps me :)

Apparently, this triplet family from Sweden moved in. Three freshman girls basketball players, all of them are 6’7+. Yep, the boys have a lot of catching up to do, with the season the girls will have.

I think I’m 5’4 or thereabout. I’m sure (and I sure hope) I’m still growing.
@Political thou art tall. :)

I didn’t do too well in my last AP gov. test. The teacher gave us a chance to improve - We can do our FRQ again at home…

Does anybody like Isaac Asimov? Which of his books are good? I want to start with something that’s fun.

@SHmluza, read Robot!

aww, you freshmen are so cute

Shmluza: let me put this into perspective. At my school, if I was a girl, I’d barely be in the 95th percentile for height. For a boy, I’m not even in the 92nd percentile. So tall isn’t exactly accurate.

■■■■ I can’t believe we have a “2015” thread already
what’s wrong with this world

Hey, I’m class of 2016 here. What’s wrong with getting a head start? It’s not like I’ve been stalking this website for a year trying to gather the guts to finally join. Yea, of course not…

this is sick, though:
most of you guys are like what? 13, 14? idk, but I know it’s WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too early to start obsessing about Harvard
life is beautiful people

Um, there are very few posts here by us over obsessions with Harvard (golf is the exception),
Well, some of us joined for prep school admissions. Others, like me, joined for SAT reasons. And there’s nothing wrong with wanting to get a head start, while enjoying life.

I think crfcaio is the kind of people to be ignored. How old we are and what we do are none of his/her beeswax.

Does anybody here watch Dr. Who? I just recently started. :)

Eh I don’t watch it anymore.
