@nate42: I know you can technically pick and choose SAT scores, but colleges still have their own requirements. According to CollegeBoard, “Students will be encouraged to follow the score-reporting requirements of each college to which they apply, but their scores will not be released for admission purposes without their specific consent. Colleges and universities will only receive the scores that students send them.”

Many schools require you only send in the highest scores or the highest sections, but there are still a lot of schools that require you send in all scores. Although you can technically hide your undesirable scores from colleges, you’re really not supposed to, from what I’ve gathered.

@nate42: I would be going to the New Jersey Virtual School… I would probably take Chinese/ Latin (I heard that helps A LOT with the SATs/ AP Comp Sci (I wouldn’t be able to take it until junior year)

also, what clubs are you guys going to be apart of next year?
I was only in Key Club (secretary), FBLA, and Math Club (LOL) this year, but I’ve heard that sophomore year is the year you have to make the commitments & stick with it.

@columbia97: Awesome! You will love online learning :)

I will be in Student Council (Junior Representative), Class Officers ( President), FTA (founder and President) , Leo Club, National Honors Society, Math Lab, Spanish Club, Quiz Bowl, Envirothon Team and FCA.

@ Nate: I’m not sure of the examination name - it was just some honors American History exam…

Neat, Nate! I’m also on the Student Council and do FCA as well. I also am the captain of the varsity basketball team as well as the captain on my table tennis team (3rd in state). I’m the Vice President of the Latin Club and I have served over 100 hours of community service to my local church.

Awards: MVP of East Coast Elite Tournament, Perfect Season award for table tennis, Timothy Award winner (memorized over 1,000 Bible verses), Teens Involved first place drama, JI Honor Society, and others.

@Nate: Yes, it is the equivalent of US History.

They are ok. Hopefully I can add some more this summer, as I am searching for some work to do. I forgot, I’m also a forum moderator, but it is for an online game, so I won’t add that to my ECS (if you know what I mean).

Yours are very impressive as well. Wow, 2nd ranked sophomore kicker is phenomenal. Keep up the good work!

My high school has a very good quizbowl team. Our A team is top 40 nationally ranked. I was on C team this year and I am looking to crack into B team next year(top 80 nationally ranked). I also will participate in USABO and Brain Bee this upcoming year. I will also be trying out for Science Olympiad, Math League, and Envirothon.

This year I was in Latin Club, History Club, Science Bowl, and HOSA Club. Next year, I will be in the clubs I was in this year and World Cultures Club and I will start a Science Bowl team. I may or may not do Key Club… I am still deciding. What do you do in Key Club?
