I got a 215 on my PSAT . I was expecting so much higher but I made so many stupid mistakes in math. Good thing I have a 2320 on my SAT.

I’m 8000% sure I just found another kid from my school on here…

@Woandering - That should be over a 2300, congrats! :)

I’m taking the SAT in January, and beyond screwed for CR…

I once thought I found someone from my school. Same name and general situations.

There’s no way it isn’t him, though - EVERYTHING I know about him (which, granted, isn’t much) is a match to the person I found. It’s kind of scary, actually. But it is a good indicator of where I shouldn’t apply if I want to be a competitive applicant.

@glasshours
Hopefully. Although, I probably missed more on CR.

Good luck in January!

They reuse SATs? For real? How’d you know? That’s so stupid, College Board is making all this money and they can’t even be bothered to make new tests…

ACT 4 life, js. The new SAT is going to suck, but we don’t need to experience it.

The one time I’m grateful to live in one of the dumbest states in America. :)) Also, do you guys think the cut-off will be a bit higher or lower this year?

@LikeThis

As all law-abiding teenagers do, we were discussing our exam after the SAT. Someone found the November 2013 thread and they discussed the exact same passages, hard math questions, and ambiguous writing questions.

So, who watches the Walking Dead?

I don’t really watch TV haha
I’ve seen a few episodes of that though and I like it.

I haven’t, but most of my friends are obsessed.

I’m worried that not taking a third year of French looks bad on my transcript. I got a C in French last year, and didn’t think it was worth it to mess up my GPA more. I’ll graduate with six science credits however and my school values the arts highly. I’m not deficient in language in any way, I’m in AP Lang right now and have a double major in creative writing and music. Haha maybe I should have taken Spanish instead…
At my school French is disproportionately difficult compared to Spanish.

I’m even more awkward with my language credits. I took Spanish 1 8th grade and Spanish 2 freshman year. And then I took Latin 1 over summer because I thought it would be fun. I could never fit Spanish 3 into my schedule, so I eventually decided to just take Latin 2 this year and Latin 3 next year.

Spanish is the hardest/most popular language at my school, with French being the easiest. German’s a third option and the option I would’ve preferred but I’m not too upset about Spanish as my teacher’s fantastic, thankfully.

Taking Japanese…

Only language classes actually offered on school campus at my school are Spanish. But through FLVS, some students take French, Mandarin, or Latin online.

Getting my PSAT scores January 13th…

Oh gosh.
