Sometimes this thread gives me major anxiety but today it’s such a relief to know that I’m not the only one whose grades suck and is woefully unprepared for the upcoming AP exams.
Freshman year me would have had an aneurysm if she saw how I’m doing now and how lazy I am still. Junior year is bad, but it’s even worse because I’ve suddenly become an Internet-addicted slug this year. Goddamn.
@LikeThis ayy welcome to the most non-exclusive club in high school
but seriously i was so lazy in freshmen year, got a b in a pretty easy eng 1h because i didnt dedicate time to my essays.
@jumpingstar I signed up for the chemistry SAT II without looking into how difficult it was. Bad planning on my part. As for mastering in time, it really depends on how you currently stand. My teacher isn’t that great either, so I’m flipping out. I’m planning on using Barron’s review book and some online resources to study.
Bozeman Science is a bit broad, but it’s nice to go through basic concepts and review.

NMSI is a lot more in-depth. Really great. She’s like my second teacher.

@jdschooled5 Haha, thanks. I’m not great with tests though, so I’m a bit anxious.
I’m in Florida.
I’m from Virginia!
I’m from Virginia too!
Any really good AP Calc reviews? practice tests in school got me in tears (metaphorically)
I have Stat/Psych/US History AP Exams and havent studied for any. But i feel fine because the first two are low-stress and history has always been my best subject. I just have to worry about my Adv. Precalc grade and STEM grade maintaining As…
I feel like i didn’t take a rigorous schedule, but I honestly can’t be bothered to care at this point. I just want to finish junior year and move on to senior year!
@TeamRocketGrunt Apparently it’s #12. I’ve been told it’s in the 40s my whole life. I’ve been lied to.
However, my school is still in horrid standing. We did not meet standards last school year.

I’m from SoCal!!
AHH super stressed about upcoming AP exams. I do well in practice exams in class in all subjects and I don’t feel worried about AP Psych but I don’t like the new question format on the APUSH test- we just started working with some actual practice questions that the College Board has released and some of them are weird. I do well in class with the new questions but I’m still nervous.
I’m also nervous about the AP Eng Lang test. I do really well in class but I think she grades our essays too easily. I don’t think I’ll be as prepared as I should be to write the essays.
Looking forward to after the APs though- most of my classes are APs so they become incredibly easy after the test- I’ll only have to worry about math. Also prom is the Saturday after the second week so I’m excited!!

I’m taking physics 1 (self-studying), stats, macro and micro.
Order of difficulty: physics > stats > macro > micro
Good luck to everyone during this super stressful time of year!

Taking the Calc, Lang, and World History Ap Test and the Chem and Math 2 test in June aswell as my SAT 1 in May. It is indeed crunch time.
Who else got a UChicago shirt in the mail? I’d like to say that their over-the-top advertising doesn’t faze me, but at the same time, I look pretty cute in my new shirt. They really know how to get high school students attached to them. Too bad only a whopping 8.4% got in last year.
@awakeningvenus They’re giving out shirts? That’s so cute. I want a shirt. A+ advertising techniques. Do you live close? Maybe they’re only giving them to nearby areas.
