I’m pretty sure a large majority of colleges don’t look at AP Scores so I’d focus on SATs.
Thank god I’m taking my SAT in June.
@ErenYeager yeah I’ve been making the SAT a priority. It would be NICE to get a 4 on the AP’s but not NECESSARY like the SAT is. Besides, I’m fine with the AP’s really.

I decided to take Chemistry and Math II SAT Subject Tests in May. On the weekend before AP exams. And on the day of prom. (I’m going to prom because the Junior Class Student Council is in charge of organizing it.)
How do you portray un-logged community service in applications and resumes?
In my county, the logs that go in our transcripts and allow students to qualify for Bright Futures only enable you to log hours from approved locations. Today I started volunteering for Project Downtown Orlando, which meets once a month to package meals and hygiene kits and distribute them on the streets to those who need them. However, it’s not on the list of approved locations. After my experience today, I love it. It’s really rewarding, and I plan to continue volunteering there once a month. But I was wondering if there was a way to reflect that community service in a way that’s beneficial. Not that that’s my reason for helping out there.
@awakeningvenus Junior Class Council plans prom at my school too! That’s the only reason why I am really going–plus all of class council got a party bus so it’ll be fun to see our plans in action at prom! I’m not sure what a “logged” community service is though

@NectarInASieve I’m probably over-thinking things with community service, to be honest. GOOD LUCK! I had the election scare last week, haha, so I feel you. As for prom, I’m looking forward to it, but I’ll be honest and say I bought my dress for $25. (Better than it sounds.) I’ll go all out next year.

@Woandering Starting to think I wont even get accepted to my dream college before I even apply… These AP/IB Finals/SAT/SAT2’s are stressing me out too.
@awakeningvenus I got mine for $65! The class council members with the highest amount of service hours get a free ticket–so I just saved $85 woooo
