Guys, I’m worried. I need an 1960 SAT and I got a 1870 on the January one. I’ve been doing practice tests and only have been getting around 1900-1920. I need a 1960 next Saturday! I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I always do the SAT QOTD and get it right and I do plenty of practice and read for vocabulary.
It’s like that shirt except it’s gray with maroon letters. Very minimalist.

I hope they answer my email. I could never get into U Chicago but I still want a shirt.
I also sent an email. If they actually send me a shirt, I may consider applying (Harvey mudd sent a really cool card Which is why I may apply there) if you think About it, it is actually a pret y good deal for the college since they get more applicants and money from applications… at least I would think so, given the high quality of some college propaganda. And don’t forget that they can have a higher rejection rate!

Scrolled through like a million pages because I haven’t swung by in a while. Congrats to all the people running for leadership positions who got it!! I’m running for President of a special program at my school. People have been SO rude about it though- but voting is Monday/Tuesday. Crossing my fingers that I’ll still win, because it would be such an amazing opportunity. We find out on May 9th.
Also, really excited to hear about this UChicgo thing?! I want a shirt??
In other sad news: I got rejected from the one summer program I was really counting on. Now I’m not really sure what to do this summer? I’ll be working for sure, but other than that, I’ve got nothing. The summer program would have been absolutely perfect.

@jdschooled5: What I did for my SAT was whenever I took a practice test, I went through my mistakes and specifically wrote out what I missed, why I missed it, and then strategies to avoid missing those types of questions again. I found out my weaknesses- like tone questions for CR- and then when I took another practice test, I tried to use the new strategies to target those questions. It’s labor-intensive, but it worked pretty well for me.
Oh, as for the college I’m applying to…
Cornell University (specifically CALS (since I’m a NY resident it would be much cheaper) or CAS)
University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)
Tufts University
Northeastern University
Boston University
Harvard University? (not sure about this yet)
I’m currently planning a Massachusetts College Visit week with my fam to visit Tufts, NEU, BU, and maybe Harvard.
Lol I will take classes at a school next year that is currently ranked #10 nationally.
While we’re on the topic of college lists, does anyone know colleges with good economics/business departments and acceptance rates on par with USC and NYU Stern? It’d be great if they are well-known since I’m an international applicant.
Going for VP of fbla. I have a good shot because I’m secretary this year but you never know. I am on a loosing streak this year for positions lmao but my ec’s are pretty good all around
