2015 AP English Language & Composition scores: 5: 9.8%; 4: 18.4%; 3: 27.3%; 2: 29.7%; 1: 14.8%
Does it only weight 8 semesters? I have 8 semesters of AP (the max) and all As but 4.29. Kinda confused.
@glasshours yuck. I really didn’t like the argument essay.
The AP Trevor account says almost all scores are finalized. Yet they wait 2-3 weeks before releasing
I’m so scared about getting AP scores back.
Realizing I leave for a college visit tomorrow at the crack of dawn and that I still have to pack is fun.
At least APEngLang has a much better score distribution than APUSH. Haha.
Didn’t take AP Eng Lang as a course and exam at all but challenged the AP Eng Lit exam instead…hehe.
We take AP Lit in 12th, Lang in 11th.
at my school, it’s

AP BIO
sophomore

the reason it’s like this is because we have IB Diploma which is junior and senior year!
So many people with senioritis in my class next year, no one is in competitive classes outside of bio AP
Senior year is the only year where you dont need to worry about what grades you get as long it is not D’s or F’s. I am gonna have a great year.
I’m still gonna aim for good grades haha, feels weird if I don’t
True that @IBGuy101 After January, Im literally done with everything
@2016seniorga - SAME. Initially considered taking it easy senior year, but it just doesn’t feel right…?
I’ll work for 95+ in all classes first semester of senior year but second semester, 90+ in all classes will satisfy me xD
I’ll work for passing, which is 65+
Oh yeah. I’ve been meaning to ask for awhile.
Apparently most schools give you your grades as a letter (A, B+, C). My school gives us a percentage out of 100. So we can get like, 98 for one class or 94 for another. My middle school did this as well so I’m not familiar with the letter grades system.
Do you guys only ever see the letter? You aren’t given a percentage first, that gets translated into a letter?
At my school we are given a percentage, which is translated into a letter grade. 60-69: D, 70-79: C, 80-89: B, 90-100 A. @cityonanocean
If I get a 95+ in all classes, I’ll be satisfied, even if it takes being awake every day until 2 a.m. since I decided my schedule would be 7 AP blocks out of 8 first semester and 8 AP blocks second semester. I managed a 97+ in all classes this year as a final grade, so I should be fine.
We get number grades. Whenever I see the letter grade system online on applications, I get confused.
We get both, letter and number.
