@jdachooled5 Actually it said it is not the official score report which is why I thought the writing score would affect it. Do you think I should retake the ACT?
@IBGuy101 I know it’s a decent score, but I was wondering if a 35/36 will increase my chances at the top schools? I’m also an international, so I feel like my scores need to be higher or something :-<
@kuriosmind There is more to life than studying for the ACT. At top colleges, public or private, they will not have any preference over a 34 or 36 ACT score because it is essentially the same percentile.
99 on the Trig regent, a probability short answer kept me from the 100. Physics I got an 87 which I’m not too bummed about, especially considering how much worse I thought I did.
@2016seniorga - It’s okay…I don’t really like my area (absolutely zero diversity), but it’s nice being so close to NYC. I’d rather be on the west coast, haha
So for summer homework, my BC teacher gave us a practice AP exam, and I don’t know how to do ~20 problems out of 43…this is fantastic and I have no idea how I’m going to finish.
Anyone else taking BC next year?
@glasshours I’m taking BC next year, but my teacher said he’s going to e-mail the summer assignment to us in August. So now I basically have an excuse for my parents when they ask me why I’m not doing my summer homework. xD
I feel like giving your students a practice AP exam for the course when they haven’t even taken it is pretty unfair… What is your teacher expecting you to get without learning anything? Is the practice test supposed to be a diagnostic for the class?
I personally love NYC so much. I’ve lived here all my life yet I discover new places everyday and I can’t imagine getting bored of it. Manhattan is the best, haha.
@allista - I have no idea, he just gave us the packet and said “please complete by the first day; there will be a test”. I mean, we have access to the answers, and I’m pretty sure we’ll be going over it before the test, but why did you have to assign us this over the summer…?
(By the way, your picture is so pretty!)
Anyone know the highest possible UC GPA? I have all A’s since 10th grade and took the most number of weighted but some people I see have much higher UC GPAs?
