@michelle426 Well, if you plan to do Biochemistry then I would go with Bio. Otherwise, number 2 like I said. Chemistry should be very math intensive and I was checking Chemistry majors and what classes they had to take for my friend and most of them require Physics. But those with Biochem focus more on Biology.
Chemistry is in the middle tbh between Bio and Physics. Buuuuuut Chem and Physics both study matter. Plus number 2 looks much, much more impressive.

@glasshours Our school makes us find our own photographers and send them in around October. I’m just gonna take my own photo with my Sony camera lol.

@glasshours: There’s a company that supports all of our city’s high school pictures called Ficarra Studios, so I got my mandatory yearbook senior pics taken two days ago. My dad (who’s a pretty good photographer himself) will be doing my photos for the yearbook ads. Sorry to hear that the ratings for that company aren’t that good
@XoXdreamerXoX: When I went to that camp at A&M, it was my first time in Texas. So when I started hearing all of the counselors at camp say “howdy”, it just made me so… uncomfortable. I also freaked out because I thought that every Texan said that (was not expecting that the Texans that I made at camp were nothing like the stereotypical “country cowboys” that I was thinking of). I also thought everyone in Texas had a very strong accent (the camper that was giving me a ride from College Station’s airport to A&M’s campus had one, so I worried everyone else at camp would oops), which was proven wrong when 48 out of 50 campers had perfectly normal dialect. With all those stereotypes on Texans put aside, I still would really like to go to this college since that camp showed me a lot of jobs and internships I could take on as an aerospace engineer. Stanford would be better, but A&M is still a pretty awesome school. I’m just worried about tuition since out-of-state is so expensive :-S

A little random but do you guys think that a 3.5 UW first semester 10th grade to a 3.83 UW last semester 11th grade is considered a “strong upward trend”?

@Mochis1 71+% of TAMU students receive aid from the school and it’s about $44k in tuition and fees–much more affordable than many colleges.
I looked at the prompts for the common app and some schools. All I can say is I am so screwed.

@Chrysanthemum14 - Ooo, have you seen yours yet? How long was the session and how are the prices? We got sent an ad saying they were only $10, but looking online, $200 seems to be the price for the cheapest package…
^It could be $10 for a “sit in”, so pretty much just to take the picture and then the $200 is to actually buy the pictures if you want them
Senior photos is how (unfortunately) most people will remember you years after you graduate…luckily mine is on point.
Lors Photography is great. 8 free wallet sized photos (chosen from like 12), packages start at $70+.
Ack senior photos are coming up this week for me! I’m not sure what company my school uses, but I’m not really all that excited. I’m the only girl in my family, and my mom is using opportunity to go overboard on hair/makeup/clothing because she’s probably not going to get to do that with my brothers lol.
I have no idea what to expect! To those who have done it already- did you have to bring multiple outfits for the pictures? My mom thinks I’m going to need to bring multiple dresses, but I’m not sure!
