hey guys. Do you think it’s bad that i wrote my common app essay on an extracurricular activity that helped me grow as a person, but I won’t be doing that activity this year because it’s too much of a time commitment? And I’m kinda struggling in a few classes so I want to focus on my grades and stuff.
@Wannabenerd1 I mean, if you focus on how it impacted you and not on how it’s too much of a time commitment, you should be fine.
I just finished applying to my 6th and final school! It’s such a relief to be done. Now I get to wait… 
@Wannabenerd1 I agree with the other posters. Just because something isnt happening deesnt mean it hasnt affected your life or the person you’ve become

Should I refrain from applying to one of my reach schools early if I think my test scores will improve
@letmeseetheworld I wouldn’t take the test too many times. It’d kind of look bad on you if your scores don’t improve by much.
So…I saw a hoodie for one of the two big state colleges for sale at half off and I bought it.
Thinking about it now, I think I could’ve spent those $20 a much better way.
Also: Do you all think it’d be bad if I got out of AP Statistics 2nd semester and became a teacher’s aide that block? No one, not even the val, is making an A in that class and she’s a horrible teacher. I don’t want to be killing myself over that class anymore.

I don’t think I have the stamina to take the ACT again after this.
So, my counselor doesn’t have access to my transcript, only the official transcript woman on staff can access transcripts, but the one that does transcripts doesn’t have access to my secondary school report. MIT asked me to put my GC’s information on there for to request both documents but she won’t even have access to one them.
@LordBendtner I’d have 6 AP periods and compute maintenance if I become a TA. But I’m kind of iffy on how that would look on me.
@XoXdreamerXoX well being a teacher’s aide shows leadership and initiative. Couldn’t you put both names down because they are in the same building- I’m sure all the needed papers will get sent. Just keep checking and ask.

Got my first acceptance letter! It’s a decent uni (certainly not one I am planning on attending if the other few accept me) But at least I have a college I can fall back on.

Congratulations @AMan236 Any acceptance is worth a celebration!!! Must feel good knowing you have somewhere to go next year. I’m sure your parents are happy too.
@pastalover0495 I love your username, haha And so am I! I’m doing ED I and it’s more than a little stressful. I’m nowhere near done with my common app essay, and I still have one more supplement left to write… hopefully I’ll get everything done in the next week. And hopefully my procrastination doesn’t follow me to college
