I don’t think I’m hitting the submit button until I re-read everything at least 10x.
@letmeseetheworld As a first-gen I feel your pain. I feel so conflicted with what everyone says. I say just go for it. There may be an opportunity waiting for you and you might not realize it. Dream big and big things will come. Just have confidence in what you do and pay little attention to others. 
@allista Same. I even did so for my auto-admit college.
How many times are we allowed to edit common app before submitting? Like if my test scores improve and I want to update that or add an award how often will I be able to change info?
This year I’m just seriously discovering how insecure I am in myself and it’s honestly getting to me. I know I have so much potential and drive but I have a hard time developing the confidence.

Signed up for the October ACT. Debating whether I should show up tomorrow. My composite score is already great but I don’t have my writing score yet so idk if I should take it just in case. I really really don’t want to waste another Saturday testing.
Hey guys! I’ve been gone for a while and it’s because I’ve been super busy! I’m in the thick of the state series for cross country, and I’m the executive producer of a mockumentary that runs weekly on our school’s TV show. Good news is, I recently finished my common app essay and have 1 of my recommendation letters in for sure! UMich is the first deadline I have, and it’s coming up in just over a week. I’m a little worried, but I know I can do it.
How long does it take CollegeBoard to send out the scores. I placed the order on October 19th and it still says order pending. My ED/EA deadline in November 1st
Well, I’d message the admissions team at your school. Sometimes they verify they have it and it’s a glitch. Sometimes it takes 4 weeks (It took 4 weeks for my colleges to get my ACT, so I’m assuming around that general timeline), so I think EA might be a bit out of reach. However, there is a strong possibility that Collegeboard did screw up and didn’t send your scores. After all, they are incompetent and only care about $$$.
Also, I think colleges won’t mind if they receive the score a day or two late. It still takes them a while to make a decision.
I sent my SAT scores to my EA school today for a November 1 deadline for Apps
… will that be OK? I had an October test date so that’s why
it took like 3 weeks for colleges to receive my scores when i sent them @emtfxc but the colleges usually say the latest date they accept, so if they allow oct you’re good
I’m pretty sure it’s okay if colleges see your scores after November 1, as long as you send them out by November 1. you can’t help it if collegeboard is slow 
tfw i’m more worried about taking the road test next week than sat physics
Also I literally plan to try to finish all the stuff for my early schools THIS weekend and it’s freaking me out a little… I won’t submit probably until the last second (bc I reread everything 10x) but at least I’ll try to have everything done before the school week starts agh
