High school class of 2016

I briefly considered applying EA to UChicago but then realized how little time I have.

Lol my essay will be finished october 31st at 11:58 thank you very much

@XoXdreamerXoX, I just need to vent to someone about Stats; I’ve never regretted so deeply my decision to take a class

Finally sent my Early Action apps, now I just have to wait

@Prospective1998 Go ahead. I will probably agree with you on every single bit.

They make stats really difficult for you guys?

At my schools stats is a joke and most of us don’t dare to take it without taking calc simultaneously. But I do hear that our school’s psych and environmental science classes are really tough.

Hahahahaha

2 lab reports
7 essays (called “journals”…but they’re 3 page essays)
3 government packets (8 pages each)
1 massive powerpoint over my research project topic (20% of my grade for the marking period)
1 calculus group project
2 physics worksheets+a physics test Friday
1 chemistry packet+reading
1 major computer maintenance project
1 EA college app for which I’ve entirely restarted my essays
And my calculus teacher gave me a lecture on how I’m her brightest student but I’m still not filling out scholarship applications and therefore ruining my life and opportunities.

I hate my life this week.

And that’s only the assignments I’ve been told are due so far.

@cityonanocean …the highest we can make on warm-ups is an 85 because since she goes over them, she says we don’t have to try that hard on them and therefore don’t deserve full credit. We get deductions based on how hard she thinks we tried on top of what we got right or wrong. Her tests are old AP tests and she grades them with no curve. She cannot teach at all. I’m sick of stat.

My school doesn’t offer many APs. Even if I didn’t transfer schools 3x, most APs wouldn’t have been an option.

-Stats is easy here, but she my teacher very fast. I’m horrible at algebra.
-Psychology is hard. My teacher is also a college professor.

I have a day off tomorrow, I’m doing a day at my #1 school.

@shadyconcepts: Awesome! Which uncommon essay topic did you choose? I did the one about balancing on a tightrope.

Honestly I don’t know how I’ll be able to finish the other 10+ RD college apps I have if I can barely even finish two without procrastinating… :-??

@XoXdreamerXoX “calculus group project” o.o??

Having projects in a math course sounds like a nightmare to me lol. XD

@qwerytiop Apparently it’s something to do with changing volumes. We’re getting it tomorrow…well, in 5 and a half hours.

2 a.m…huh…the SAT site chose an interesting time to freeze.

One of my reccomenders still hasn’t submitted her letter. I have a deadline Sunday. I’ve been in contact with her and she was supposed to have it done by last week. Trying to not to worry too much.

Other than that, essays are coming along better than I thought. Of all things, I do not want to procrastinate on college apps.

I visited my #1 school, I loved it! Everyone is so nice (a rare thing in NJ). I was supposed to attend a child abuse class, but ended up in an English class instead.
Now I have to write another essay, ugh.

Still worried about one SAT II I have to take, and it’s stressing me out so much.

Not so worried about college essays or even grades.

Anyone taken SATII Chem? Any advice?

I ordered my cap and gown and got my tassel today. It was very strange and surprisingly emotional.

@Woandering I took Chem last spring, and from what I remember, you need to work fast. I remember being somewhat crunched for time since you need to do 50 questions in 60 minutes. For those true/false questions, there always will be one or two that are TTCE. I think it was mainly the harsh curve that made me nervous.
