@Mochis1 I chose the essay prompt on the Spanish quote “yo soy yo y mi…” so I answered the question “I am me and my…” and kind of went in a weird direction with it (I talked about how ketchup represents me lol). Now I’m just trying to write the Why Chicago essay and struggling since I’ve never visited… but I guess I’ll just try to lowkey bs it somehow

I know I’m an automatic admit, but having been the first college acceptance in my family, this feels fantastic. I feel slightly less uncertain about my future now.

@letmeseetheworld My counselor hasn’t started her stuff, my humanities teacher claims to have never received an email with instructions on how to upload her letter, and my physics teacher is still working on his. Gaaaaaah.
Neither my counselor nor my teacher have uploaded any of their stuff. Woo. First deadline in a few days.
My school’s first quarter ends tomorrow and I have a physics midterm. I also have a ginormous English portfolio due that I’m really struggling to work on. My teacher grades holistically and I’m praying that I’ve pulled off an A this quarter. I’ve never worked this hard for an English class before and I feel like I haven’t really improved all that much since being in the class but I have to demonstrate that I have. Woo. Fun stuff.

@XoXdreamerXoX: Just one more part and I’ll be done! I’m trying to get it done ASAP because I am applying as an aerospace engineering major. 
I had to email the teacher I asked for a Letter of Recommendation twice plus call her once to get a response about it a week before it’s due. Ugh! That was some really unnecessary stress. I’m applying early to my favorite school this weekend and still need to revise my essay…
I’m trying to finish my rough draft before I go to sleep. I really want to perfect other parts of my app because I know I’m lacking in other areas compared to most applicants.
