Trying to finish this last supplement but… maybe tomorrow…
Have my MIT interview tomorrow and roughly ~3 supplements left to write (or recycle, haha). Super nervous for tomorrow–it’s only my second one, and my first one didn’t go so well. ):
@glasshours I can’t say enough positive things about my MIT interview. I hope yours goes well. It’ll likely just be a casual conversation. No resume, no transcript, nothing. They just want to know you as a person. Good luck. 
This sounds terrible, but I really wish sometimes that my parents didn’t care so much. My dad is driving me INSANE because of college apps, and that’s been making writing the supplements 1000 times harder.
@QuirkyClarkie That’s what makes me glad my parents don’t even ask what colleges I’m applying to, lol.
@XoXdreamerXoX Ugh, I wish! My dad and I ALWAYS fight when he reviews college applications and I don’t want him to anymore, yet he insists. He never likes my supplements and always ends up yelling at me, which unfortunately makes me cry. Then my mom gets mad at me because then my dad’s angry at everyone and I have to listen to her snarky comments for the rest of the day.
(Can you tell that this happened this morning?)
@QuirkyClarkie I’m sorry this happened. But hey, at least you know he’s doing it because he cares. It’ll blow over soon when your applications are submitted. Good luck and keep pushing these last few days.

Finally finished Online Drivers’ Ed, which was a massive pain. 
Man, I haven’t been on this thread in a long time. I just now saw that @XoXdreamerXoX mentioned me about a week ago as one the original prople in this thread who still shows up from time to time lol. I had a pretty strong presence on the High School Life forum in eighth and ninth grade but I kinda quit in tenth and eleventh grade because of the pressure and self-consciousness I felt as people became more and more impressive. Kinda just popping in to say hi and that I still exist. I got in to Rice ED so I’m kinda just chillin now. I may or may not become more active in this thread once more.

Congrats!! Rice is awesome. Houston is too humid for my tastes though.
Celebrity, eh? That reminds me of this summer program I attended a few months ago - I had been very active in the CC thread for that specific program and once I got to the program people were going around looking for Swinter :-S There was even a hashtah on social media about finding Swinter hahaha. And thanks I actually hate humidity but I hate cold even more lol (also I’m a girl)
