High school class of 2016

@letmeseetheworld

Red or Blue tie?

@itsmyusername Lol, why?

@AMan236 I always go red tie.

If you are interviewing at a women’s college, be prepared for “Why do you want to go to a women’s college?” I interviewed at 2 women’s colleges and they both asked that.

…I had a ton of office secretaries fighting over me to be their aide and in the end, my college counselor begged long and hard enough to get me in his office permanently, lol.

I’m kind of feeling bad that I dropped an AP class to be an aide, but the stress is a lot more manageable now and I don’t have near the amount of homework I did last semester. It feels like I can finally breathe. I was just too stressed out last semester and my mind and body weren’t able to keep up with my desire to make great grades in all of my 7 APs and 1 STEM elective.

Freedom ends after today :frowning:

Found out my decision got postponed from my state flagship and it’s my top choice so FML. Looks like I get to stress out even more for the next 3 months.

I normally don’t feel sad when a celebrity dies, but damn, RIP David Bowie. Grew up listening to him.

So I am in AP Lit which is a junior level course at my school and all my classmates are balloting right now and it is just making me realize that we’re almost done guys… This year is going by so fast!

Literally EVERY school in our county has a snow day today except the one I go to. WHY!!! :frowning:

Anyone else doing the powerball?

@Chrysanthemum14

My brother is programming something to get some numbers together. Lol, he really wants that money.

Being home sick when I have:

  1. A calculus test review
  2. A chemistry lab (oh, I'm so dead when I go back to school tomorrow)
  3. 2 English quizzes and a journal entry (probably over the real definition of diction).
  4. A biology quiz and poster I had to turn in.

I’m so screwed.

@XoXdreamerXoX Omg, I hope you feel better soon! I’m sure you’ll be back on track in no time. :slight_smile:

When I’m at school, “Can’t wait for summer.”

When I’m in summer: “Dude, I miss school.”

@Chrysanthemum14 The odds don’t seem worth it. Apparently it’s about 1 in 292.2 million. To put that into a new perspective, the odds of finding a shiny Pokemon is 1 in 8192 every time you encounter a wild Pokemon in one of the games. That’s over 35,000 times more likely to happen than winning the Powerball, yet even as someone that’s invested hours upon hours into playing Pokemon instead of studying, I’ve only encountered a shiny once.

@XoXdreamerXoX I remember a time when missing school was the best thing in the world. Now it’s just overwhelmingly stressful. That sucks, dude. Hope you feel better.

I played it two days ago and guessed the right Powerball number. Made a cool profit of $2, lmao.

@AcceptableName I was so mad when I woke up this morning! Snow Day Calculator failed me :((

I’ll be sure to tell you guys how it feels to be worth 700 million on Thursday. Then you’ll stop seeing me post because I’ve given up on school. 10 years down the line, and I’m broke and living in a roach infested apartment wondering where all my money went. I try to get back into school, but I’m too lazy. That’s when I play the lottery again… and win… again! This time, it’s a record 1.7 billion (but we must subtract tax collection agencies), so I end up with 1 billion. I’m happy and realize I must chill out with spending. I then buy a movie production company and make a profit.

It’ll have its ups and downs, but in the end, I ended up alright… and then I wake up.

@AMan236 blue is my favorite color
