It’s insane that in less than 3 months, we’ll be picking where we’ll be spending the next 4 years of our lives.
@glasshours …I’m lowkey hoping I get rejected from all schools I applied to besides my state school, as I’m too indecisive.
@glasshours Some of us already have… Or maybe I’m the only one that’s already submitted and enrollment deposit. But it’s scary none the less. This week in AP Lang, our journal prompt was “You will be graduating in just 6 short months. Reflect on where you’ve been and where you are going.” (Graduation is the end of June so it’s less than 6 months but still) All of us, the girls especially, were all like " No, I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to think about the future." When we walked in and saw it on the board.
I don’t want to do that either! High school wasn’t that bad agh actually except freshman year that was terrible.
@readingclaygirl You’re not the only one! I already submitted an enrollment deposit too.
@readingclaygirl - You guys keep journals in English?! I’m so jealous. I wish we did stuff like that in class–instead, we just pore over boring AP passages.
In Spanish we have done AP review all year and I’ve learned absolutely no additional Spanish. Education is so test-centric it makes me sick.
Lmao, we did nothing in AP English Lang after my first semester teacher left. I could zone out all class period and still pulled a 95.
I loved high school man I’m gonna hate leaving
@djyoungqueef
I feel exactly like you except the complete opposite
@djyoungqueef I feel the same way. :((
@Hawkace, How is your Michigan experience so far? Does the quarter system go too fast? Also, is it too cold or manageable?
I haven’t been online in ages. How is everyone holding up?
My favorite part about senior year is festering in anxiety waiting for college and scholarship notifications.
I’m going to miss almost never having to do any homework.
I’ve changed my mind about Gannon. They’re asking for my dad’s income, so it’ll be too expensive.
@XoXdreamerXoX Have you thought about doing one of those “admissions journey” posts? I feel like yours would be interesting
I think I’m just going to grind this semester out. Focusing on school keeps and actually keeping up with my schoolwork me busy which makes time go by a bit faster.
It’s like I had senioritis first semester, haha.
Hey guys, The college interviews are fast approaching. Those of you that have already taken the interviews, can you post some questions and most importantly your take on some dos and don’ts. I like to collect all your responses into a master question bank for all of us here to use. Thanks.
@Optimyst Dude, how did you make your text purple?
I only had one interview.
I have another one next week.
Basically:
Why do you want to attend this school?
Tell me about your interest and passions? Questions after this usually referred to something I mentioned.
Finally:
Do you have any questions for me?
