High school class of 2016

Got an update from GA Tech… decisions come out March 12th , not 27th

Atleast that’s a little better @gravity607 It depends on the school and oftentimes what state they are in @newjerseygirl98

I’m scared to check my grades because I’m pretty sure i have a 0% in one class.

3rd snow day in a row tomorrow! I love Colorado.

Lmao. My counselor thinks she can change my teacher aide assignment without asking me. I’m not going to be an aide in the 11th grade office. I don’t care what I have to do to stay with my previous assignment, but I refuse to be in the 11th grade center. At least I felt useful in the main office with the agreement that on Thursdays I’d help the volunteer college counselors (they’re there because our counselor left). I know I’ll feel useless in the 11th grade office and I can’t have that.

How badly do your grades have to drop to get your application rescinded from a college?

Is it okay to submit financial aid docs late? I’m having trouble viewing Penn’s Financial Aid supp. Funny thing is I was done with it yesterday but for whatever reason didn’t submit.

If you contact the admissions/finaid at Penn, they may help you with the submission.

I tried peacefully protesting my reassignment. It didn’t work. I’m stuck doing nothing.

I was in the nurse’s office today when a freshman was telling the nurse that she’s pregnant, and got kicked out.
I think that’s my most awkward moment in school so far.

Sounds kind of messed up. ^

@newjerseygirl98 sounds like my school, from what I’ve heard.

That is honestly so sad.

@letmeseetheworld @HeyItsNick I know :frowning: They called CPS since she’s so young, hopefully it works out for her.

My GC just came in and saw me on here, and checked out what I was doing so he could help. I hid the forum, since I don’t want him to ask why we’re talking about this on a college site!

That is sad. Then again there have been 15 year olds that have wanted to get pregnant.

My 7th grade history teacher’s mom was 12.

Hi all! For those experienced with the fafsa, what happens when you need to make a correction to fafsa after you submitted it to all your schools already? I made the correction, but do I have to resubmit (and pay) all over again? Thanks.

I just checked my AP English grade and my teacher gave me 100 points extra credit. My grade is 150%. I don’t know if it was an accident, or if she did it on purpose. I’m not complaining tho…

@debate4ever You do need to go to the last screen and submit again. Although you don’t have to pay…you never had to pay. Hence the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid.

@AcceptableName One time an English teacher gave my classmate a 400 for a grade on a paper lol. She never noticed the mistake.
