Snow days are the best! I could finally sleep in…for the first time since summer, I got more than 5 hours of sleep (I can’t even sleep in on the weekends 
)…haha, I got 13 hours of sleep last night!

Colorado weather is crazy…it was a blizzard today…but it’s supposed to be sunny tomorrow…I hate how the weather is so unpredictable
I’ve lived in California since fourth grade. I miss the snow so much, back when I lived in Oklahoma I really liked the weather during the winter because we always got the right amount of snow (weather the rest of the year is the pits though, it’s so unpredictable, and don’t get me started on tornado season…).
@dsi411 I like cold weather more than warm weather, since it’s generally cloudier and I prefer winter clothing to summer clothing.
Getting the phone call for a snow day is literally the best feeling in the world. I live in a state where it snows, but not too much so 2 inches will get the day off.
@tigerman333 I like the Patriots! (we’re going 16-0). I love the NBA too but the regular season is so worthless. Every decent team makes the playoffs. I’m a Celtics fan, so don’t really have a shot this year. But we’re playing well

I am so mad at AP Lang right now. I wrote a rhetorical analysis essay about a passage in the scarlett letter, and I got a 4 SO MAD!!! I usually get 8s and 9s but I really messed up. Mad at myself right now
AP chem test tomorrow… Here goes hours of studying atomic theory…

Unfortunately it’s still too warm to snow here in MD. I love snow days and in MD we get off or delays for practically anything, even though snow is not uncommon at all here.

Guys, the snow day I had two days ago messed with my sleep schedule and I forgot to set an alarm. I was 3 hours late to school this morning because I accidentally slept in and got 12 hours of sleep…My mom had to excuse me saying it was “car troubles” when really I was laying in bed…
It’s supposed to snow 11 inches here in Chicago overnight. That’ll be fun to clean
The great thing about Colorado and snow is that I can always go sledding!!! I can just walk out of my house and sled without traveling anywhere fancy…just my backyard… It’s the best!! I hate skiing but sledding is the most amazing thing ever! You get a good workout too because of walking back uphill…you are always out of breath but sled down the hill again anyway…

Hiya! 2016-er here and would like to advise you all to not take a load of AP classes just because they say “AP” in front. It can get extremely difficult, especially when trying to be in/be an officer of several clubs and hold a job or do community service or have an internship. Take the classes you really enjoy–colleges will appreciate that more than you filling your schedule with APs that don’t correlate at all.
I speak from experience–I decided to take on 8 AP classes and have had multiple nervous breakdowns since the beginning of year. Please don’t do that to yourselves.
Remember senior year is supposed to be fun and not consisting of you going to sleep at 2 a.m. when you have to wake up at 5. Find something you’re passionate about, go out with your friends to the football games, homecoming, or just go out with them for the sake of roaming the city. Good luck, you all.
*Note: also, senioritis exists. Except for some over-achieving juniors, it starts off a little early and becomes a chronic case of student-itis, lol.

Anyone want to major in business? I want to do that, put also take the prerequisites for pre-med just in case. Up until like 3 days ago, I was deadest on doing pre-med, but not Im interested in doing business and working for a company. Lol and I was even thinking of doing BS/MD…so glad I didn’t bc then I’d feel like I have to stick with medicine and I can’t venture off and explore other paths.
