@wanderlustgal You can do it!!! I was totally caught by surprise because I never prepared for ACT essay (only SAT, i doubt that helped). If you have a good english score, you can totally get a good writing score. Now I need to work on the math since apparently I can do AP Calc and get an A and can’t do elementary algebra…something is up with that 
@sprights same! I have an A in AP Calc but struggle with the geometry and elementary algebra…haha :-/
The thing I find strange about the ACT writing section is that you can use “I.” In my English class, it is forbidden to use “I”
Lol I dont even understand it, some of the word problems are more mind boggling than calc frq’s… @athenanv13

I’m taking it in December…I was going to take it in October but there was a lot going on with the PSAT and extracurriculars so I pushed it back
I feel like my life has been taken over by SAT subject tests. Hopefully Latin will go fine this week and I’ll be done!
In the meantime, I’ve had a restful Thanksgiving with my family (including my sister, a college freshman!) and am anxious about getting all of my homework done tomorrow. Oops.

Getting an A in Multivariable Calculus and I still slipped up on PSAT math, so I feel you guys, haha…
I’m taking the ACT in December, and I’m so nervous! I keep making silly mistakes, and what’s ridiculous is that on the past few practice tests I’ve taken, if you miss even one question on the science section, that section’s score drops from 36 to 35. I feel like I’m predestined to score below a 34 lol.
I took it in october and did pretty bad compared to my practice tests. The math killed my score and I didnt do as well as i usually did in reading. Science and english were good. Gonna hardcore study during the winter break and retake it in Feb for 32+. That is, unless my PSAT was good. If i got at least 1400 or 1350, i’m gonna study for the new SAT and sign up for the first two sittings… sigh. I hate standardized tests. @tigerman333
@Frigidcold Apart from you already being a genius, how did you study for the ACT? Did you just do practice tests or what?
